The torrent of sand was flying through the air at Eevee.

Eevee, dodge it!

The little brown eevee attempted to jump out of the way, but the blast of sand caught him by the back legs, sending him spinning and landing on the ground several feet back. He stood up, his legs shaking.
'He won't be able to fight much longer', Jake thought to himself.

Use quick attack, Eevee!

Eevee mustered up whatever strength it had left and darted towards the Trapinch.

[Acroticus]

Trapinch waited for Eevee to run close enough and clamped down his mighty jaw.

Eevee was trapped in the bite. As it clenched down harder, Jake could see the pain on Eevee's face, it wasn't going to be able to tolerate much more. Jake held up the pokeball and pointed it at Eevee.

Eevee, return!

Eevee was transported safely back its pokeball and Jake put it in his backpack.

Eevee was trapped in the bite. As it clenched down harder, Jake could see the pain on Eevee's face, it wasn't going to be able to tolerate much more. Jake held up the pokeball and pointed it at Eevee.

"Well done Trapinch. Return." The red light flashed, and Trapinch was gone. Kevin turned to Jake.

"I guess I win. Your Eevee needs some work. I suppose I could help you along, if you came with me. To Herracross town at least...."

Yeah. We never really battled much before we set out. Plus we had a nasty battle capturing this zubat a few miles back up the mountain.

Jake held out his second pokeball with his new zubat inside.

He began walked forward as he talked signalling that he was ready to move out.

Yeah. We never really battled much before we set out. Plus we had a nasty battle capturing this zubat a few miles back up the mountain.

Jake held out his second pokeball with his new zubat inside.

I was just on my way to the pokecenter before I bumped into you.

He began walked forward as he talked signalling that he was ready to move out.

Kevin followed the man.

"Yes, I haven't encountered anything since this Snivy back where we met. Anyway, I'm sure you could use on of these." Kevin reached into his pack as they walked and handed Jake a revive. "I've got several more, so please, take one."

[Aserica]

Jake looked at the revive.

You're sure? That's great, thanks.

He took the potion and put it in his bag. There was a silence for a few minutes before Jake spoke up again.

So what made you set out, to .. wherever you're going?

After some walking Bale finally saw Herracross Town, finally he thought by himself.
And so he started the trip down from the mountain.
His grandfather lived on the other side of the town, so Bale could first stop at the pokecenter and the market.

Jake looked at the revive.

Kevin sighed. This is why he didn't want to walk with anyone, they would ask him questions he did not want to answer.

"Me? Well, I'm trying to get enough badges to enter the Pokemon League. The leader... well... I've gotta beat him. I hear Herracross Town has some rare and powerful pokemon; I've got to catch some. As strong as Trapinch is, he still couldn't beat the Eucalypse Gym... Anyway, what about you?"

Jake sensed the reluctance in the answer. Perhaps this guy wasn't a good travelling partner after all. He listened contently however, and he was naturally inquisitive so he would probably ask questions whether he meant to or not.

Ah, you wanna be a big name trainer then. Your Trapinch is pretty strong, and well trained too. I'm just looking to travel and see around. I'll prbably face a few gym leaders eventually but for now Eevee and I need plenty of battle experience.

"Well, once we reach Herracross Town, I'm certain you'll have plenty of chances to battle. I visited the town once; the place is crawling with trainers. Besides that, I'm always up for a rematch."

When Bale entered Herracross town the went straight to the pokemoncentre to heal his pokemon.
After that he went to the store, where he brought some potions.
When he was done he walked towars his grandpa's house.
"Bale! what are you doing here on such buetiful day" his grandfather said when Bale walked up to the front gate.
"Grandpa, how are you" Bale replied.
After some talking about what was happend his grandpa went to the field next to his house.
Bale called rhyhorn and phanpy out so they could play a bit.
His grandpa told Bale that he could train rhyhorn and phanpy so they could get a new attack.
Bale loved that as rhyhorn had only two attacks and phanpy only one real attack.
And so his grandpa went to work with the two.
Bale watched and was happy that rhyhorn and phanpy could get along.

Ah, that'll be good, there's got to be someone on my level. And thank's for the offer, but I think I'll wait a while before I battle you again, but be prepared, I'll be better next time, haha. Have you traveled a lot before?

"Well, I wouldn't say a lot, but I did see the Pokemon League once. It was amazing."

Just then, they heard a rumbling under the ground, and a Sandshrew shot up out of the ground, directly under Kevin. Kevin fell to the ground, and the Sandshrew turned towards Jake.

Casi headed to the pokémon centre examining his new pokémon. The bottom, white portion of the pokéball was now a purple hue. Casi headed to the pokémon centre and joined the small queue of people waiting to heal. He handed over Trubbish's ball to the Nurse Joy on duty. "Can you give me a few details on this pokémon once its healed please? It's a Trubbish I've just caught. And why has the ball turned purple on bottom?"

Joy took a look as she took Casi's pokéballs and ran them through the healing machine. "Your Trubbish is female and knows Poison Gas, Toxic Spikes and Recycle. When you caught it, was it using Poison Gas?"

Casi nodded. "I think so."

Nurse Joy smiled. "The poison has infused itself with the inside of the ball. The attack was strong enough to permanently dye the white portion of the ball too. This pokémon has some special talent,” she said. "But don't worry, the poison is contained so it won't affect you."

“Thanks Nurse Joy, I appreciate it,” replied Casi. He headed over towards a large, electronic noticeboard. Here local trainers could leave details that may help others, as well as make battle requests. Casi began to type out a note.

As he hit enter, the note was added to the large noticeboard. Hopefully someone would answer his challenge.

Jake panicked, both of his pokemon were incapable of fighting. He would either have to run, or fight the sandshrew himself. The little agressor jumped to scratch at his face, but Jake ducked under it and ran to the side. The sandshrew followed him, cautious to his movements. Moving to keep its attention, Jake managed to distract it so Kevin could get back on his feet.

Kevin stood back up, but rather than help his new friend, he watched, laughing, as he ducked and dodged the little monster of a Pokemon.

The Sandshrew flew forward in a ball, bouncing of Jake's torso. Kevin fell to the ground laughing.

Tobias started to get moving, walking through the woods again instead of the mountain path like he had seen one of the others do. As he walked around, he heard a rustling in a bush and a *ominous blank* appeared.

A bellsprout was on the walk while he suddenly came on a path where a trainer stood, bellsprout quickly hided behind the leaves in hope that the trainer didn't see him.

Jake let out an umph! when the sandshrew hit him on the chest. Stumbling backwards he was frustrated with Kevin just laughing. Clearly he was going to have to settle this on his own. He reached into his backpack and took out a handful of kibble.

Come on, buddy .. want some food?

The sandshrew scurried forward, but then stopped just before him. It was curious yet reluctant to trust the human. After a few short seconds and a quick sniff, the mouse-like pokemon jemped at his face again. It got a sharp slash at Jake's face before he managed to grab hold of it and extend it away from him. With a firm grip the little bugger Jake turned to Kevin.

Who's laughing now, haha! .... Now how do I capture him?

A bellsprout was on the walk while he suddenly came on a path where a trainer stood, bellsprout quickly hided behind the leaves in hope that the trainer didn't see him.

Tobias saw the Bellsprout and decided it would be a good chance for Shinx to get a battle. He sent out Shinx and prepared for the wild Pokemon to attack, if at all.

Kevin was laughing hard until a passing Buneary attacked him, it threw all it's weight down upon his foot with a mighty pund.
While Kevin yelped and hopped comically, the Buneary readied itself to cotinue its assault
