No. There is a rock gym and a rock elite to.

So.. I will start travelling randomly in any possible direction, apart from the one that leads to Kani town and only go there when I am ready or just end up there randomly...

Well I'm not so much deciding as I have a candidate who exists already in mind, even though we haven't seen anything of him, only flashback.

Well obviously. But once people start to ascend the glorious cliche waterfall and enter the dark, winding and powerful labyrinth of Victory Road, and it comes time to pick members of the E4, I have a name to throw in the hat.

I think the champion should be mixed, no fixed type. More like Blue and Cynthia compared to Lance, Steven or Wallace.

I didn't play RSE, but lance was dragon themed.

Then again, I only know him from the manga and Fire red (where he is a member of the elite 4).
In Fire Red he is the last Elite and then Gary is the master

Depends. Technically mixed yes, except Wallace. All part Water.

Lance the "Dragon Master". The mixed types are Aerodactyl, Gyarados and Charizard. All + the Dragonites have a weakness to Rock.

Steven was all about rocks and had mostly Steel type, with the two fossil pokémon of Hoenn and a Claydol.

My dislike of GSC and HGSS is that there are no good grinding places, unlike Unova where the strength of wild pokémon increases the further into your journey you are. HGSS seems to have very few wild pokémon in their 40s as standard.

My dislike of GSC and HGSS is that there are no good grinding places, unlike Unova where the strength of wild pokémon increases the further into your journey you are. HGSS seems to have very few wild pokémon in their 40s as standard.

That didn't annoy me, I usually ran with a Typhlosion, Ampharos, Lapras, and Donphan. 4 Pokemon makes grinding so much less annoying.
