Because Italy is full of boring people. I may break away and form the Church of England........... Catholicism is getting old....... And is making religion look bad, which would give reason for a Break away for a more reasonable and enlightened approach to religion.

Well, I want this to correspond to my real life conversion. So I will have England break away from the Catholic Church to create a King-Parliament-People Government and not a Government controlled by a Pope somewhere in Italy.

Well, I want this to correspond to my real life conversion. So I will have England break away from the Catholic Church to create a King-Parliament-People Government and not a Government controlled by a Pope somewhere in Italy.

Firstly I don't need to go through France. Secondly the German Princes are weak and squabbling so they won't be as hard to crush. And the Pisans, well they are not as strong as me on land so I think I could make a push through Italy. And I don't need to declare war on France or the HRE. People have RPed going through other's lands with no consequences at all so............. And I don't need to get to Italy anyways to break away from the Church. So I will not invade italy to break away from da Church. But I will keep my army ready for a Catholic "Invasion" and Inquisitions.

About 20,000 initially. If diplomacy wins out, Pereyaslavl and Great Rus men as well.
