That force is probably more than all the armed men in Europe in the Middle Ages IRL. The First Crusade only involved maybe a hundred thousand combatants.

I looked at land expansion, military successes, and populations rates of Morocco under Almohad rule. Combine most of Iberia to that, and voila.
