Actually you could Argue Venice is the second naval power.
Aragon's navy in size, professionalism and tonnage is the largest and they are activity dealing with north african pirates.

Venice's fleet however is larger in concretion, because of its size and its location, they can field probably more ships at one time logistically then aragon but also if Venice loses ships, it takes them longer to replace them


Then Ottomans, they're navy was pretty boss and they are starting to peak to become the world's largest navy

On land? If so,then yes,the ships.

Especially if the king has few direct landings,is trying to fight the nobles,and meanwhile anger the bourgeouis even more,so they join forces with the nobles to kill you off (Mad,isnt it?Nobles and the citizens uniting.Now,ya see,thats something to be remembered for. King Henry,The unitor of his kingdom (for getting his a** kicked by all)).
Seriously,dont go down there,the britsmen(or englishmen,they still were) love their rights,both noble,and citizen ones.I have a hard time believing they will simply let you take power.

I thought you ment,organise the armies,move them to one place,form one large army,etc..

IF YOU ALREADY STARTED WITH 5%,RECRUITING MORE WILL HURT YOUR ECONOMY and TREASURY!!
(Rate of course proportional to amount over limit).
(Exceptions are,when you are in the state of war,where it does reduce your income,but it would go down nevertheless,so it may be worth it).
