And the build of 15 new carraks. Christian was also happy that Poland had accepted his alliance offer. But of course not everything was going well on the diplomatic front the venizians had declined his offer for an trade agreement this putted a stop for his plan for now so he wrote a new letter to the doge of Venice for a new one.

We have seen that you have declined our offer and with good reasons I see. As you need all ships you need to protect you'r self. But I give you the same offer and that all ships you send to the baltics will be protected by kalmar's navy up to Calais. And any attack on them on the way there will be seen as an declaration of war against the kalamar union.

My liege my region under siege by a local peasant revolt. The revolt is relatively small with 1.000 men but is to much for my forces so I ask you to send reinforcements to help me put these peasants down.

Christian was a little worried and sent an force of 5.000 men to handle it. But he was still more annoyed bit worried. This was under equipped peasant after all how hard could be. He said to himself. And went to read a book about the Vikings he had come to a chapter about Leif eriksson that if you believed the story found a new virgin land and settled there but was forced to back by the fierce natives. Then it hit him that it might not be just stories after all many new scientists says that the world is not flat but round and it would explaina all those stories from Greenland about fishermen that are gone some days and return to say that they saw land in the horizon. But of course this could just be Asia and Asia is as we all know habited by mighty china a state the union does not want to anger how far away it might be. This also reminded him that he should send colonizers to northern Sweden and all of the uncolonised Scandinavia. And so he did. So the colonization of the rest of Scandinavia begun.
Ooc no he has not discovered America he believes it might just be Asia and oh boy will he be suprised when 1492 comes around.

I doubt that many records of the vikings would exist.
And I am sure that nobody would have heard of neither Leifs,nor his adventures,as I am almost sure, he only lived in greenland,to where his father was once exiled,and then died in "Vinland",when his village was massacred.
