The resort island of Thurston, situated on an island off the coast of Jamaica is everything that you could want in a resort island: lavish beach houses, extravagent nightlife, pristine beaches, and adventure around every corner. However, in the summer of 2013, Thurston became infamous for another reason - death. During the busy summer, a record number of 30 fatalities within the course of 8 weeks was recorded. Autopsy reports list the most likely culprit as a Great White Shark, but some argue that the culprit is much larger than any Great White they've ever seen. The bite marks on the remains of the victims point to both the former and the latter, but leaning more to the latter. Whatever is doing this has given Thurston a run for its money, forcing Corporate to hire a team to locate, investigate, and eliminate the shark before it kills anymore vacationers.

This is where you come in. Whatever you did - whether you be known for killing sharks or researching them - has caught the attention of Corporate. Offering a $500,000 bounty for the successful elimination of the shark, you have been flown on an all-expenses-paid flight to Thurston in order to board the Alucia, a state-of-the-art research vessel upgraded with a harpoon gun and other equipment to hunt down and kill this massive predator. Soon, you will be searching the ocean for the beast, but be warned; it will not give up easily.

Name: Jed Lynch.

Appearance:Jed is approximately 6'2, and a well-toned, tan-skinned Caucasian from the United States, specifically from the South. A former US Soldier, he has his brown hair shaved in a very short high and tight, with the sides and back of his head completely shaved. He has a Five O'Clock Shadow on his face as well, from a beard he had during briefly during his time with SOF in Asia Minor. He's a toned, muscular man, weighing around 220 pounds. Due to his Southern origin, he speaks with a Southern accent.
Personality: He's a hardened combat veteran who is always locked-on when in the field, but when off the field, he's a sociable, approachable guy. The welfare of his subordinates is something very important to him, and he would sacrifice everything to make sure that they all survived, even though he knows that not all will make it through.

Basic Bio: Growing up in rural North Carolina, Jed was born into a rather "unprofessional" family. Both of his parents were hippies; leftovers from the Sexual Revolution. As a result, Lynch saw plenty of drug abuse as a child. He never thought highly of his stoner parents, even after they were carried away for making opium in the family's trailer. He was soon sent to a foster family, which soon adopted him. His adopted father, a Vietnam Vet, mentored Jed, convincing him the opportunities he would have in the military. After high school, Jed pursued that goal by joining the US Army.

After excelling at Fort Benning during both Basic and Infantry AIT, Jed was sent to Airborne School in order to serve with the 82nd. During his 4 years with the 82nd., Jed completed Air Assault School, Pathfinder School, and Ranger School. Although he enjoyed serving as a Ranger in the 82nd., he decided that he wanted more of a challenge in his life, so SGT Lynch got a slot for SF Selection. After passing through Selection, he earned his Green Beret and his career would later bring him to Asia Minor, where he saw some of the worst that humanity had to offer. Now, a retired veteran with a pension, the former First Sergeant seeks a much tamer lifestyle. As a result, he became a ship captain in the Caribbean. Due to his extensive leadership background, Corporate decided that he was the best man to control the Alucia during the shark hunt.

Isabella did well at school and decided from an early age that she will follow her parents' footsteps. She earned her degree in Biology at the age of 26, degree in Chemistry at 28. She was called to Thurston to find the notorious shark. Isabella was most likely called in for her extensive research in marine biology at Sydney. Her mission is to not kill the shark, but rather capture it and do some more research in the are after the job is done.
