United Federation, you cannot claim land like that so quickly. You must have posts where you battle the natives and capture land. Also, it takes time to conquer that much land. Barely a month has passed since the beginning of the RP. You could not walk the length of land in Africa you claim to have conquered in that time. And you have not RPed any ships suggesting that you had other troops moving by sea. Also, it would take more troops than you have, especially with 300,000 in Portugal, and groups in the Americas.

Speaking of the Americas, while your claim thus far is fine, it is a little unrealistic. If you wish to keep it in New England that is fine, but very likely the first Spanish explorers hit the Carribean, South America, or Florida/Georgia region. It would likely be these areas that you would have a map of, so these would be the logical destination for colonies.

It isn't. But it is in the real world, meaning that the Sahara Dessert is there, and the Meditteranean has that same climate, if you see what I'm saying. It is an alternate world the exact same as our own. So logic applies.

Problem is no one really knows where anything is. It's just kind of random where you end up, so it makes sens that directly to your west is where you would land, or thereabouts.

I already have some ships headed to the New World (it takes several months so probably takes nearly a page of posts before you reach there) and they will be landing in the Canadian-New England area. They should have more weapons, being that UF didn't mention many or any troops.

Well I don't. I plan on resisting invasion with every breath of a highly trained army that would have the home field advantage and would be far more disciplined and professional than any OTL renaissance European country; defeat is far from certain. Besides in many of the OTL colonized nations the Europeans depended very much on some of the existing societal structures to control their conquests; the Indian Princely States being the most obvious examples. A few thousand European conquistadors would find it very difficult to administer a territory about half the size of the European Union without building on the monarchy.

My hopes for this RP is that my country manages to pit the various European countries desiring to conquer it against one another, while simultaneously giving away concession territories to selected powers over cities in OTL Gambia. This would have been enough to satisfy OTL Europeans in the Colonialism as it was only during Imperialism that they began to take direct control over the interior of Africa.

It has not been six months, it has been less than two since the RP began (or else my ships would be in the Americas as well)

As far as your American colony, it is a bit unrealistic, but I am okay with it.

It's your crazy rapid African expansion that is far too unrealistic and has too little effort put into it to be accepted.
