I think total population should be determined by land area more or less and the quality of land, most countries had population densities measuring between 4-10 at this time. Since Iceland is about 40,000 sq mi and combine that with the northerlness of it and are poor farming qualities I would say we would have a density of roughly 4-5 persons per square mile at the time(that is 160-200 thousand persons total)

I think 160 to 200 thousand for Iceland seems a bit off considering the fact according to this link even today or at least in 2012, the population is only 319,575. To back this up here is that link http://www.statice.is/Statistics/Population.

my administrative ability is 10 so meaning I could have 10,000 standing but since I dont have a professional military really instead I have a Large citizen army. Also my military is technically located all over my island, pretty much all villages are basically small strongholds(they resemble Maori Pā) built on hill sides and such(this leaves the tops of hills as pastureland and the bottoms for farm). In case of attack the men of the village will come out and face the enemy directly with their slings while the women will stay behind to man the walls.

Unlike the Norse who came here very recently the Jax in this RP have been around for centuries of years and have properly adapted to the conditions so as such are pop should be density wise similar to what most European countries had at this time, more or less.

Population numbers have to be realistic it doesn't matter how long your people have been there Iceland isn't the type of land to be able to be home to 200 thousand people during this that's just ridiculousness to me unless your trying to say your people are better adapted to those lands and more advanced then the people who actually lived there in 2012? The Op can figure this up but I'm doubting your population is that high that's one of the cost of picking a land like Iceland to start off the role play at.

Side note: The United commonwealth of ayrshire I don't think he was accepted into this role play and his post sucks which shows how bad of a rper he is. The Op will deal with that and hopefully get his post removed but I ask as a fellow rper that everyone has somewhat decent post and not make the role play look bad by poor rping.

That's one of the reasons I was hoping he wasn't accepted but it looks like he was but his 3 sentences could have been made into something a bit better. I'm not a great rper but I do count myself as a decent one and I don't like his post at all, I would prefer if everyone put some effort into their post but his is the only one I really have a problem with for obvious reasons.
