They should thank us for using our powers for good, I could go out right now and heal hundreds of injured people but I'm too much of a freak to be see in public." Matt sighed. "You don't need to talk about it if you don't want to."

Daniel sat down on a log with Anna sitting on top of him and he grabbed two beers. "You like the party." he said with a smile.

"I like more than just the party." Anna said as she started to kiss Daniel some more and began to in button his shirt as well."

Daniel put his hand over Anna's as she got to the middle button "How about we bring this somewhere more... private." he said with a smirk.

"That's sounds dangerous. Hope you don't plan on rearranging anybody into a table," Erik said with a morbid giggle.

Then the track on the boombox changed. Never Gonna Give you Up "This is my song!" Erik exclaimed. He put down his wine and got up to dance.

Erik stretched his arms, grabbed Julian, and carried him to where he was dancing. "Let us dance the night away!" he said in an excited voice.

Alyssa smiled up at Matt "I feel comfortable around you" she sighed. "The truth is i dont really know why im in Unis, i mean yeah i get good grades but my power is really dangerous. It could seriously hurt or kill" she said sadly "My mother even once called me a demon when i couldn't control it. she avoided contact with me locking me up in the attic for months barely feeding me. Until she had a change of heart when my dad died. sad thing is I was locked up by her not to long ago. It was about a few weeks before i came here. I, eventually learned almost total control of my power in those uhhh...." she paused thinking.
"6-7 months alone. all the while never talking to anyone i lost my 'accent'. about three weeks ago my dad died. my mother was distraught by it. His last words to her were
'Michelle please dont blame little Alyssa for hurting others, its my fault. She inherited my power. Send her to Sylvan Academy my love. Think of it as my finally wish'."
Alyssa finished her story. she was sobbing into Matts chest.
"thats when she gave me this necklace and apologized for in prisoning me. she said she loved me for the first time ever. You know you remond me of my father, kind gentle quite and nice" with that Aly broke down sobbing into Matt chest hard.

He had his own equally traumatic story but he decided not to tell it just yet. He didn't want the conversation to turn into just him and her talking about how horrible their lives were. He kissed her and looked up at the sky smiling "I'm sure he's up there somewhere... waving down to us."

The two danced for hours. It was so much fun, he didn't want it to stop. This french boy was the most awesome person ever. He was also quite attractive. "Why am I think about that!" Erik thought. But he couldn't stop thinking about it. The way he moved, his charm, his style, he was hot. But not only that, he had a taste in alcohol! Erik felt like something awakened inside him. He felt like a caged bird being set free. Erik was blushing, a deep blush. he was never nervous in any situation, but this seemed to be the exception. "Hey... Julian... can I ask you something?" Erik said nervously.
