Queen of Thieves (IC)

[Sherwoode]

Welcome to Sherwood.

Where the hood rules, and the armor rusts.

Where arrows fly and swords sting.

The rumors of Sherwood are spread far and wide.

There hides a man no other can surpass.

Where kings are disobeyed and taxes will never be paid.

And the story of the Wood will forever be told.

It shall live on forever; the home of an outlaw bold.

~Lord of the Lyric, Alan Idale

[Sherwoode]

The Tale of the Wood:

The Crusader Knights came home a last
To long sleepless nights, and forgotten pasts
The Holy Wars were their salvation
Against the Moors of a battle-ready nation.

At home were their women
Most stayed in bed,
Downed by the plague
With no husband to attend.

Among these assumed dead was the
Lady of a Manor.
Who was lying beneath
A dual colored Banner.
Of her knight and husband
Whose Lady seemed abandoned.

From the ashes rose a phoenix,
In a tight,
Green shroud.
The Hood and the Crown
Were never to be found.

"An outlaw's Outlaw" was said of she
Who rode through cities of
Death and Greed.

And eye for an eye.
A circlet for a crown.
The Lord lost his Lady,
Who is yet to be found.

Money for the head covered by the Hood.
The discarder of his bed,
The Queen of Sherwood.
