I used to enjoy NSG, because there are people there who snark at the lunatics.

And the you realize that they willingly read NSG and have been doing so for years. And they'll gladly rehash the same topic over and over to repeat the same joke. Oh, sure, they'll whine and gripe, but they do enjoy it. Clearly. That's how you can go "Oh, not another abortion thread!" and still get to 20 pages in two hours.

Because they aren't snarking at the lunatics. The lunatics are just snarking at each other.

And it's a terrible thing that it's identical to how my country is actually governed.
