A lot of people (PCs or otherwise) died during the War, I thought Dunefiend had as well.

Resident Evil as a franchise anyway is terrible, the only good games (from the little I've played), were the first and second ones. From there it's just been mediocre third person shooters with laughable attempts at jump scares.

Still though, as an ALIEN fan, I will never forget the atrocities of ALIEN 3, 4, and ALIENS: Colonial Marines.

Ah. So the movies are bad adaptations of bad properties.

Don't forget the Alien vs. Predator movies and the utterly disappointing Prometheus.

No, the only good game was the fourth one. Before that, the series had shitty controls and actually tried to take itself seriously, and after that, they just kept trying to duplicate four and failed hilariously. Four happened to be lucky enough that it was actually decent.

AVP is separate canon. Like DC vs Marvel. So I don't have problems with it.

And I liked Prometheus and its imagery (I also find it funny how people bitched how nobody seemed to be excitied about being on an alien planet, while in reality, most people honestly don't care about space travel. Not even scientists). It could have easily been better, but it's an example of why hype is bad. But I have my hopes for Paradise.

It was a good looking movie, but I found the story pretty poorly written and the characters annoyingly stupid. The villains weren't interesting either and the answers it gave were disappointing. I think it's another case of good director, good cast, good production design, bad script.

Also, the only good character was David. I liked the take on an artificial being and was the only interesting character that I really liked. That and the poor Mala'kak. Getting face-raped by a Trilobite sure is the start to a bad day.

You're right, David was a good character. He's different to the other robots seen so far in the franchise and Michael Fassbender is a fantastic actor. It was pretty disappointing how easily he got dispatched, but at least his head's still alive.

Well, currently, we have 31 characters (not counting the AIs, Calliel, and Crazy Uncle Frank).

At the start of Arc 2, we had...holy shit, 31. That being said, 7 never made more than one or two posts, and 2 were Night's, so I wouldn't actually count those ones. That really brings it down to 22.

As for Arc 1, Night copy-pasted the Arc 2 list on top of it so I have no idea how many characters there were, but I think it was in the 20s.

Yeah.

It's why I got confused. Activity depends more on the players and less on the characters, after all. :P.

The AIs are much more like NPCs then PCs (and besides, then I'd be counting Tim's snake), Calliel is jointly controlled by me and Night, and Crazy Uncle Frank seems like he'll show up as primarily a running gag, and the list is really just a list of major PCs.

So yeah.
