Some just set fire to a book outside, a friend told me.

Book burnings happen here, unfortunately. Usually religious based, which tends to cause a whole good deal of fun.

This time, the book was Atlas Shrugged.

I have no complaint.

It was about Fascism in WW2 Italy. The opponents were neo-fascist guys I don't know in IRL.
As a leftist liberal, you can guess what my opinions would be. Problem is, I also happen to have a paternal grandfather who actually had to endure said period. And he really didn't say much rosy things about it.

Now picture me, seeing some youngsters calling bullshit on what someone that had actually endured that hell on Earth that WWII was told me, and reacting accordingly.

I still flamed them effectively. :lol2:
