I got it! After Arc 2, Eric gets sucked into a timewarp that brings him back to 1991, and he lives through the 90s. Then, to prevent a paradox, he finds a way to return to the present before his birth creates two Erics. He then lives out the ten years between Arcs 2 and 3, making him 39 by the start of Arc 3 instead of 29. *nods*

You know, I just realized that there is a huge amount of irony with Crazy Uncle Frank's character. If he were actually intelligent, he would be so laughably overpowered that he could literally destroy the planet. However, being intelligent would completely invalidate the existence of his powers, so he just uses them to ride around town on a boulder, completely oblivious to the fact that he could do so much more.

Anyway, yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Originally stuff was going to happen, tragedy, yadada, stuff explained, yadada. But hell, nothing happened and they're happy. I'm too good to take that away and whatever needs an explanation can be done in oneshots. .
