I have the sudden urge to kill Septimus.

They're by definition mentally deficient, and charging into a combat zone. The only thing saving them is their durability and a sense of cover. If Alison doesn't have a sense of cover, she will be injured, possibly mortally.

Think of it as an RTS. Takao and Septimus are good units with good abilities and weapons. Sari-Chan has a modifier that causes her to act randomly, but she at least has a fuckton of HP and useful abilities. Alison has the same modifier, but lacks the fuckton of HP. If this was one of my miniatures games, I would select Sari-Chan as a tank (she actually reminds me of a Rancor from Star Wars miniatures, only cute) for her random strength. I'd pick Septimus and Takao as heroes to lead squads. What the hell does Alison do? Basic infantry with the modifier that causes her to refute some orders or just act randomly?

As a strategist, that is a terrible team. I'd definitely want to switch out James in favor of Alison.

Personality: Infinitely kind and loving, Lir is the polar opposite of what one would expect from a sea deity. He never gets angry, and in the face of perils his usual reaction is a mere giggle and a shrug of the shoulders. He cares dearly for Marowit, but remains unwilling to pressure him into doing something about their complex relationship.
History: The Irish god of the seas had a rather unremarkable life, especially after giving birth to Manannán mac Lir. In fact, only Marowit knows much about the story of his life.
Marowit and Lir first met in 1769, while the first was visiting some fellow Wendish gods in Ireland. After a long conversation on an Irish beach, they agreed to meet again at a party in a manor in Dublin, followed by a visit to Lir's luxurious mansion, where they shared tea, and a very first kiss. The chemistry between the two was immediate, and the relationship that was born from their initial meetings was rather symbiotic, each complimenting the other with their personalities.
Only four months into their relationship, Marowit suddenly proposed to Lir, an unexpected event to both. Lir gleefully accepted the offer, and both married the following year, back in England.
While it was clear that they both loved each other, Marowit was extremely hesitant to marry the Irish deity. With so many failed marriages behind him, and the swiftness with which their romance had developed, Marowit feared that he was making a huge, impulsive mistake. However, and despite all fears and doubts, they went through with it, much to the relief of Marowit's friends.
Their marriage lasted fifty-seven years, and only came to a sad, but not particularly painful end, when Marowit's insecurities got the best of him.
Ever since then, Marowit and Lir have preserved an awkward yet pleasurable bond of confidence and guiltltess sex, while the latter quietly waits for Marowit to finally accept the fact that their relationship never really ended.

It's probably not obvious from the way I'm RPing her right now, but Alison's not an idiot. Sari-chan causes her to act sillier than she normally would, but she's not an idiot.
