I mean, I don't want to be a dick (because saying "please retcon that" kind of is), but the whole relationship/subplot/trainwreck between James and Ivy that I inadvertently started is just kind of abysmal (again, my fault) and I'm not sure where it was supposed to go in the first place, so I'm just kind of shoving it underwater and praying it drowns.

Oh yes, the Indian high fantasy rp isn't going to occur for quite some time now. I'm working on that in my off time by studying some Hindu holy texts as well as the Koran and Guru Granth Sahib, because Nat has absolutely nothing on me regarding nerdy religious studies.

So...fuck it, a very, very long time from now on if it ever happens on NS at all.

This is generally what I do when I screw things up.

Which is... Bad. I know that the entire thing wasn't exactly perfect - James and Ivy got barely any time to interact which meant no explanation for anything - but I did put a lot of effort into that post and tried to work with what we had, by presenting it less like love and more like guilt on James' part and Ivy needing support. The post itself was meant to end off the entire thing by having James (through Snowflame, as a call back to the previous Ivy/Snowflame interaction where he lied to her about James' feelings) finally admit his true feelings but saying he wanted Ivy to be happy, as well as make one last "James has survivor's guilt regarding Ivy" thing by introducing the seed. I am not happy with having to scrap all of it, and let's just leave it at that.
