My sister and I built an entire village and played with the stuffed animals going through their day-to-day lives. They were even split up into different families and had relationships. We even hosted a couple stuffed animal weddings. I wish I could remember more specifics. Those were good times. :)

 That is fantastic.

My brother and I liked having them go on adventures. We had this parallel universe called the "Mirror World" where everything looks exactly the same as what it actually is in our world, and yet it's totally different. I forgot how exactly, but it was fun.

I like to think they traversed more miles in the parallel universe than we traverse in our entire lives. :P

Ponies are good for that sort of game. They're like Transformers. They're numerous and generic enough that you can have them slaughter each other en masse, but individual enough that their deaths mean something.

Our parents would never let us do that, so instead of wooing, they went on productive adventures. Or we had them make house.

Because my brother and I were told while growing up that "you are not allowed to date until after you finish ALL of your education".

All of our education meaning after we got our degrees; for me, after med school.

I made some pretty complex narratives involving the daddy longlegses that lived in my room. I never actually played with them because duh, but there were a lot of characters and relationships. It was like a soap opera set i na world where school is on the moon and light bulbs are secret spies. And the entire cast consists of spiders.

I wasn't interested in dating for a long time, but now I really want a girlfriend. I think having someone in my life who actually loves me and, more importantly, shows that she loves me would really help. Unfortunately, I don't think that's really going to happen. :(

I had actual toys too, but not enough to build a proper cast of characters. Plus the spiders were alive so my stories seemed more real.

It was fun. Peter was my favourite. He was a dentist for zoo animals. I think I actually got him and Spider Erin married, but I can't remember.
Not that any identities were permanent. Daddy longlegs don't live that long and it would have been impossible to keep them straight anyway. Peter was whichever one I wanted to be Peter at the time.
