Another Day, A New Reich

The Khanese did the same on their side. Efseven City prepped itself for a siege.

Saur rubbed his head, realizing that it just wouldn't be as simple as he had originally thought.

That night, a man from the Waffen-SS visited the Field Marshal.

"Being a little sister myself, I can imagine how things got there," she replied, chucking a bit. Just as she said this, she spotted a vending machine of sorts off in the corner, with one of the lights decorating the top broken out, as if it were done by an angry patron. She walked up to it to see what it had. After scanning the various kinds of drugs, alcohol, and classical literature, she decided on the "Wintergreen" Flavour tobacco. She inserted the money, and after a few forceful kicks, three tins of tobacco came out, along with a pocket edition of Machiavelli's The Prince. She grabbed all three objects happily and opened the first tin.

After taking a pinch, she did her best to position it in her mouth. However, there was still some loose, and she ended up swallowing a bit. She coughed and gagged, and leaned against a table to ensure she didn't fall.

"They were twins, and both agents," Theta said, "She was, I believe, jealous of his AI."

After recovering from that incident, Sofia stood up, and wiped her mouth. "Really?" she asked, responding to her AI's retort. "Seems like I'm certainly in luck then." She pulled out the pocket copy of The Prince she'd "won" from the machine. It had a simple white cover, with the title sprawled across the cover, with what looked like stains from a thousand different liquids on the front and back.

"So, he was a pretty nice guy, eh? Well, I can be nice too. Howdya like Classical Italian literature?"

"They were twins, and both agents," Theta said, "She was, I believe, jealous of his AI."

After recovering from that incident, Sofia stood up, and wiped her mouth. "Really?" she asked, responding to her AI's retort. "Seems like I'm certainly in luck then." She pulled out the pocket copy of The Prince she'd "won" from the machine. It had a simple white cover, with the title sprawled across the cover, with what looked like stains from a thousand different liquids on the front and back.

"So, he was a pretty nice guy, eh? Well, I can be nice too. Howdya like Classical Italian literature?"

"He helped me deal with my shyness," Theta said, "And the Prince? I have read it before. Shall I read it again?"

[Arcturus Novus]

*hands over wallet, smokebomb, and last pack of Marlboros*
"They sent me without food."

"We have some jerky," Romeo said, "I am Romeo, the old man here is Eli, and the girl is probably named after soem shitty country star."

"Thank you, sir," Arc said. "It's a good day to be alive."

[Erickan]

"Aw, shit." She chuckled, then her eyes widen as she realized her innappropriate language. "Er, excuse me."

"Like I fucking care," Vlad said, grinning a bit, "Everybody swears here."

"Therefor, it is logical that swearing won't be looked down upon," a voice said, coming from Vlad's earpiece.

Kai relaxed slightly. "Oh, good. I wasn't sure if it was allowed, and then it kind of slipped out..." She shrugged, then looked sharply when she heard the new voice. "Um..."

[Hathradic States]

"Damn straight, skippy," Romeo said, offering Arc one of his own cigarettes.

Here, this Machi-Mecha-whatever guy seems to get it. Look, right here." she pointed to a line on the page, which was not quite so badly stained as to keep its words from being legible. "It says right here, 'It is better to be respected than loved". Keep that in mind, and I'm sure you'll do okay. Until I'm, like you said, terminated, then you'll have to figure them out yourself. As for reading, we can hold off for now. Let's get a drink." She walked up to the bar and lazily laid her arm on the bar, bracing it up against her face.

[New Nassrau]

"Okay..."

She then leaned over Tucker and shook his shoulders to wake him up.

"Good luck waking him up, he can sleep through-" Church began, but was cut off by the banging of anti-aircraft guns.

"Shit," he said, before hearing the sickening crash-bang of bombs as they began to land around the city, "The Khanese are bombing us."

Out of instinct, he grabbed Martina and pulled her down with him as bombs began to rain around the city. The room shook as bombs landed close by.

Almost surreal, she layed on the floor with church's arm across her chest.

"I'm scared... I... I never experienced this before"

[Hathradic States]

"Like I fucking care," Vlad said, grinning a bit, "Everybody swears here."

All this time, Tucker kept sleeping, still mumbling about Caboose, and a monkey's ass.

She frowned slightly, Delta was not far off. She didn't like that it was able to read her so easily. Well, so it appeared.

"Ahhh. That's...interesting."

"Fuck if I know," Romeo said, "Making bad jokes?"

Ericka looked for her husband.

"She thinks that this is incredibly weird," Delta said "Mayhaps I should go."


Ericka's husband was in his bedroom, and stood up to embrace her when she walked in, kissing her on both cheeks then the lips.
