Kai blushed even more. "Oh. Um. Erm. Heh..." One hand subconsciously crept up to her dark hair and she fiddled with a lock of it nervously, taking a quick glance at Vlad.

Vlad's eyes, a cold, icey blue, were giving her an apraising look, as one might apraise a gem or valuable weapon. Then again, that was his default look.
