She blushed at the closeness, but it was too comforting for her to pull away.
"W... When can it be over?"

"Right you are," Sofia said, thumbing back to the page she was on. "My bad." After putting the book back in her pack, she continued. "That I kinda figured. So, is there any way I can.. I dunno, get you something you can use?"
"I am good, drink up, I will watch your back."

Ericka's husband was in his bedroom, and stood up to embrace her when she walked in, kissing her on both cheeks then the lips.
A smirk flitted across her lips. "Oh, I didn't mean to offend..."
She kissed him back briefly before pulling out of his embrace slightly, frowning. "I have a question."

"If you insist," Sofia replied, grinning. She downed a shot of vodka, and cracked her neck shortly after. She did that often; She liked the way it felt. She pulled her lucky two-headed coin from her pocket and flipped it a few times, always landing on a different side, but with the same symbol. A lighting bolt (basically one from an SS uniform), streaking across each face of the coin. There was a lot of history indeed in that little piece of currency.

"You do not offend us," Delta said, "I am not capable of being offended."
"And I just don't care," Vlad said, smirking.
"What is it, my dear?" Hath asked, setting his book down on the bed.

"Who knows?" Church said, fainly aware of the closeness between him and Martina. In the part of his mind that wasn't worried about dying in the next few minutes, he noticed her frame was very much a woman's.

"Oh good." She smiled, blushing a little.
"Do I look fatter than normal?" She poked her stomach, eyebrows furrowed pensively.

The bombs started dropping less. She noticed how close he held her.
"If this makes you uncomfortable... I'll just... Scoot away..."
Her voice was wobbly though.

"Will we continue our mission soon?" Theta asked, "and does your overshield still work?"

"Um..." Hath said, blushin a bit before saying, "I have an feeling any answer I give is wrong."

"I should probably go see if Ericka has anything she needs done...But I'd really just like to get to know this place better. And the people."
She looked up at him. "No, no. I just wanted your opinion."

Suddenly, Sofia was jolted back to reality by her AI, from her daydreaming of her past. Which certainly wasn't a bad thing. She'd lingered for too long; It was time to move. She extended her arm and checked her armband, which held readings for her overshield. "Levels are normal," she said, jumping up from her seat. She put her lucky coin back in her pocket. "And you're right, little guy. Or gal. Whichever you prefer, really. Anyhow, we should head out. That listening post won't sabotage itself." She grinned, and dropped the money on the counter. She walked out of the bar, and jumped on her bike, to get herself to the enemy listening post outside the city listening to sensitive communications.

He couldn't see it, but he was blushing furiously.

"We should sleep for the night... and if you don't mind"
She pulled the blanket over both of them.

"Guy, I guess," Theta said, "They said I am based off of Vlad."

Church pulled her closer under the blankets, not out of fear this time, but of something else.

"Ah, Vlad," she said, thinking of the time she'd met him. She didn't remember him as well as she might ought to, but it was likely he didn't remember her at all. "Where is he, anyway?" she asked, revving up her bike's engine and driving off the the rendevous point with her handlers.
