"Girl, if you fight in his place, you've clipped his balls. You've dishonored him and disgraced him. You wanna do that, go right ahead. Otherwise, keep your temper. Oh, I'll serve as the Krute's second. I doubt he's familiar enough with Earth standard duels and etiquette. We're going by High standard, are we?"

While they weren't looking, Torii ran around the corner with her TF gun and the knife. A minute later, she walked in and handed Yoshi a katana, marked in the hilt with Kanji.

"Will this work?"

he smiled and nodded then stepped forward, drawing the blade. "I w-will duel you." he pipped up, trying to sound brave. "I may not be as masculine as some, but I will not allow you talk down to Katya like that. now pick up your weapon.

[Swith Witherward]

"Yea,but at least they are gone for good now, right?"

"Smart.. Now d'en we settle d'is in d'e Dojo."

"We're not sure. I didn't have much time to talk with Dani. The Caretaker who banished them the last time is putting out fires of his own, but I intend to meet with him when he's free. I'll find out."

Luce held out his hand, palm up, for calm. (With an internal flinch, he remembered the tongue-lashing he'd gotten from Dora when he tried doing it palm facing outward.)

"Please understand that this is only a theory," he said slowly, trying to put together words in the right order. "There aren't many who decide to leave the Service. It's a tradition for most who do, to do so because they've chosen a single person to be devoted to, rather than all of humankind. Dora took this step. But leaving also means loss of powers and immortality, which is why not many go through with it."

He paused.

"She was, as Naomi said, spirited enough that she wouldn't have sat idly out of any fight. If she was benched, in modern terms, she would have insisted on monitoring it. Especially if her chosen was fighting. That is my best guess. And it is unfortunate that the place my Brothers chose to monitor from was unprotected."

Bran's head appeared from the water again, he didn't seem to be crying, but he was soaking.

"But why didn't they move over to Chaos when the warning went out? Minerva called us all on the radios and said that we should get to Chaos. It's the restaurant across from where Dora was I think."

Yoshi simply glared. he was going to be destroyed but he tossed the katana back to Torii and stood his ground

Katya was still angry, and waiting for am excuse to fight. In the meantime, she covered her chest with her arms and waited.

Torii took the katana and stood by, watching.

[Giovenith]

Giovenith at this point was just now listening and playing with the hankey, so as to avoid looking at anyone else... she had pulled her knees up to her chin, and was probably more silent in the presence of her friends than she remembered ever being. "Mmmm..."

*He then lead Yoshi past sliding doors that opened up to a dojo. He walked to his end of the fighting part of the arena. There he waited for Yoshi to get to his.*

"Thriller, thank you, by the way. Thank you for sending so many forces, and thanks for helping with the rebuild."

Yoshi made his way over to his side and faced his opponent

Well, now it was obvious that Bran was still crying his eyes out. Thie was really the first time someone that close to him had died since his parents. It really hit home with him that Dora wouldn't be back next week, nor would his parents, or all his old military friends who'd either been killed in action, or executed by any number of the homicidal regimes that somehow got in control of his homeland.

"There's no way to get her back, is there . . . If only I could say goodbye to her. There's no closure to her death, no body to recover, no proof substantial enough. No funeral to pay your respects to. It's almost like she's just on vacation or something . . ."

She walked over to Bran, letting her arms fall to her sides again, looking down at him. Torii tried to avoid eye contact.

"You finally found out?"

"It's nothing, really. I mean, I am doing this for the entire apartment, as well as my race, and of course, you."

*He took a stance and with a beat onto his bare chest and a roar to follow he gave the motion for his opponent to come to him.*

"That's death for you," said Giovenith finally, though with no less grimness. "We all watch movies, read books, think death is about saying the last things we ever need to say to someone... no. Death is not so patient. It takes what it has to and rarely gives us leniency... and really. Would we ever run out of things to say...?" She crouched down low again.

[Urran]

Yoshi simply stood his ground and stared. he was never one to make the first move. he simply yelled "RAAAAAAH!"

[Swith Witherward]

"It's nothing, really. I mean, I am doing this for the entire apartment, as well as my race, and of course, you."

"I married a good man," Swith said with a blush to her face. "Alright, let's get these two rug rats to bed." Sidney was already yawning.

Naomi shook her head. "No Bran, we can't. It's a terrible alley to travel down, and bringing her back isn't right. I learned that the hard way. Not this time. Not at this Time. We can honor her memory in our hearts, because that's where she'll live, and we can honor her by creating a memorial when we return home."

[The BranRiech]

"I won't go, and she won't live in my heart. She's dead." Bran groaned and rested his forhead on the side of the pool depressingly. "Just like my parents, it's why I refuse to step foot near our old home."

"I married a good man," Swith said with a blush to her face. "Alright, let's get these two rug rats to bed." Sidney was already yawning.

Torii was ridden with guilt.

Yoshi simply stood his ground and stared. he was never one to make the first move. he simply yelled "RAAAAAAH!"

*Again, he let out another roar, but still did not move. This fight was getting intense, just like North Korea.*
