[Urran]

Katya grabbed Yoshi by the arm again, stopping him.

"Yoshi....it was my fault....I started it...just...let's just not do this again, and we'll figure all this out in the future. Okay?"

he looked at her and bit his lip and looked away. "I-I-I am so confused" he squeaked and tears ran down the sides of his face. "I f-feel so hurt inside...a-and we are supposed to hate each other...our ideologies are shooting at each other on some God forsaken battle field and we're in her acting like we love one another." tears continued to fall

[New Aksarben]

"I know that.... I just do not like being unable to control my emotions like that...." Albert told them. He liked to think of himself as being able to control himself, but a little petting and he couldn't stop himself.

"I'm sorry you feel upset about it," said Giovenith, tilting her head and giving a sympathetic smile. "If I contributed to that with petting you, I am truly sorry."

"It's fine. I said you could." Albert said. "It still felt nice though.... and relaxing..."

[Torsiedelle]

"But.....why are we acting like this? It isn't right...I know I'm vulnerable, and that's sickening...but I can't think any other way. And now we k ow that we have so much in common...but I shouldn't have just thrown myself at you. Mother would kill me for that."

[Giovenith]

"Sooo, you don't like it, yet you like it?" she asked somewhat jokingly, patting his head though avoiding the cat ears this time.

"sh-she has no influence here...Katya, I h-h-have...feelings for you I really do" he blushed crimson. "b-but no one ever truly cares for me...th-they help me out because they feel sorry for me and want to feel better about themselves because they helped out an orphan..b-b-but no one really cares inside!"

Then, she hung her head low. She slowly walked back to Yoshi, and hugged him tightly.

"I'm not worthy of this.....but still, thanks. I.....I....."

"It's fine. I said you could." Albert said. "It still felt nice though.... and relaxing..."

Katya stood there for a long time, staring. She didn't say a word, didn't move, nothing.

Then, she hung her head low. She slowly walked back to Yoshi, and hugged him tightly.

Yoshi returned her embrace and began crying into her shoulder."y-y-yes you are" he managed to say through tears. "l-l-leave your past in the past..I-I-I d-do not care what you d-did b-back then."

[Swith Witherward]

Swith left Dani's room and wandered the palace before checking up on the twins. Everything seemed to be in order so she tucked them in and continued to roam.

It was strange being here and even stranger to be living in a building with such large rooms. It reminded her of her home in the Void and that was unsettling. The Void was a terribly lonely place despite all its opulence and wealth. Thriller's palace was too, especially as it didn't contain him. In many ways, he was bigger than the whole palace, and not a single room could ever be large enough to contain his personality and drive.

She roamed the halls in arctic fox form for sh*ts and grins but soon tired of it... the form didn't really please her because it reminded her of her first night with Cornelius, and that only made her more lonely. She focused her energy instead and sought out his physical form and then, upon finding the cryochamber with his body in it, she shifted to her favorite form and draped herself on top of the cool surface. She was snoring a few minutes later, smallish back feet twitching from a pleasant dream and huge ear pressed against the glass to listen to his life signs.

"no...but now what are we going to do?" he asked.he hadn't felt this way since....he remembered that and gazed at the ceiling "I have not felt this was since....her."

Katya looked at him curiously as she straightened out her uniform.

"Your mother, or someone else?"

"Another casualty?", She said bluntly.

"Well I'm sure if you give it time, you'll smooth out a way to express it," she said with a smile. "I can help you too if you want, I like talking things out with others."

"That would be nice." Albert said smiling. "I'd appreciate help...."

"Hugs?" she offered, opening up her arms.

"I should be in bed..."

"That would be nice." Albert said smiling. "I'd appreciate help...."

"Hugs?" she offered, opening up her arms.

After a moment's hesitation, he nodded and hugged her. "I haven't hugged someone in a very long time..."

he nodded and turned back to her"o-o-n the front line."

"A lot of people I know can relate.", She said. She checked her pocket watch and frowned.

"I should be in bed..."

"y-you speak for yourself as well I assume....you need some sleep" he motioned toward of the beds. "I think we both do." he crawled into one of them and got under the covers
