As far as Ethan is concerned, he spontaneously combusted as he put on his biological suit and died horribly. But nobody put the fire out. In fact, as Tiffy past by, she noticed that the flames had died down and that Ethan was still alive. So she lit a match and dropped it on him before moving along.

I should fix this. The entire crew noticed the flames had died down, so they all lit matches and pelted him with them.
