Of course not. 90% of information in that letter is lies including the thing about you trying to control strait designed for scaremongering.

It was Henrique I and then Henrique II, but it was his brother who came after him so I think your theory has pretty much gone down. I'll se the name of the mother if you still want.

What about a week equals an year. That's enough to create 1 long post where you write all the necessary information for that century.

That still means RP would need to last for 2 years to get through this century.
If we are pegging RP to RL time, perhaps 1 day = 1 year will be better: 3.3 months to get through this century.

That still means 13 months, but with appropriate time skips, that could be plausible.

He can say that was ideas of his ruler and lies actually were true. Possibility of that is low but not impossible. Obviously, he cant send you letter saying "what ever British told you is lie".
Although, that will just show the world that British intelligence was true and calls current king's legitimacy into question.

It's not, when it is in character and intended to be bending the truth. You can lie in order to further your goals, just as Nepal is doing.

BTW, Nepal, I'll write you an answer later today. The Doge is busy entertaining guests. :p

And I'll only have to make one post per week? Cool. This RP will finally be as slow as the others. (In other RPs, the IC has 1-2 total posts/day.)

State/National Religion:Greek Polytheism
Dominant Religion:Greek Polytheism
Minority Religion(s):Roman Catholicism
Population:6 Million (Please keep realistic...):
Population Growth Rate:20,000 per year:
Military Organization:Professional Army
Military Size:1%: 60,000 soldiers
Fleet Size:200 ships ABOUT
National Flag: (Put in a spoiler.)

National Focus:Grand Army
National Idea(s):Arquebus, Mare Nostrum
Trade Policy:Mercantilism (Free trade or Mercantilism)
Civil Freedoms: Free Subjects (Serfdom or Free Subjects)
Primary Import(s): Iron, Gunpowder, Grain
Primary Export(s): None, under Mercantilism
Primary Culture: Spartan (Primary culture/linguistic group)
Accepted Cultures: Spartan, Greek (Up to 2 cultures, must be present in your territory)

Brief Description of your nation's History: Do I have to use the NPC's History?
Brief Description of your nation's economy: The economy focuses mainly on the pure survival of the nation. One of the biggest focuses in Sparta is of the military, for the fact that there are much bigger surrounding nations, and all males are required to be ready for combat service. Trading in gunpowder, the Spartan Army is very much well equipped, and the navy is also a backbone of the countries' main defense economy. The government also focuses highly on Farming which feeds the hungry stomachs of factory workers and military recruits and officers.
Brief Description of your nation's government: The government of Sparta is supremely ruled by the King. He is the word of the people. But since Sparta is a militaristic nation, if the King is found to be corrupt, that is the case and one of the only cases where the people and military may overthrow him. Examples of corruption are siding with enemy nations betraying the nation's official current religion, siding with rebels, insurrectionists, mercenaries which are all illegal in Sparta. Other examples include gambling, extortion, racketeering and any other illegal activies. The King's advisors of both politics and military strategy or otherwise known as the "King's Court" are made up of 12 politicians each representing one of the 12 major regions of Sparta. Other political advisors and departments are also figured in. The King's Court includes the following:
-King (Overall Ruler, plus Commander in Chief of Army)
-12 Representatives (Voice opinions of people)
-Minister of Treasury
-Minister of Religion (Much like the Pope)
-Minister of Economics
-Minister of Trade
-Minister of Agriculture
-10 Generals
-3 Fleet Masters
-1 Supreme Commander of the Navy (Lower than Chieftain and King)
-3 Field Marshals
-1 Chieftain (Chief of Staff)

Brief Description of your nation's populace:The People of Sparta are a fairly happy, fairly treated people; so long as the government is happy. The military has more respect and dominance than the overall population and Military forces are ALWAYS on duty. Women are considered to be of equal fighting strength of men but common skepticalism says otherwise. Though most women are happy in farming or houskeeping or working in the factories, they are given the option to serve in the military. The Kingdom's populace depends on the military highly to keep it safe. Though there are several groups that want to bring the king down and his military shatter all of the great Kingdom's accomplishments and bring whatever sick type of government that could be better than the overall fair system of the current Kingdom. These groups can consist of Mercenaries, Rebels, or all around Drunks with a few handy guns in hand. The kingdom overall though is happy, enthused, and ready for whatever comes there way.

RP Example: http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=196239

A few things, there are cultural things I do not understand because I'm not really a wiz about culture and all that. Also, I know we have guns that are like muskets. Obviously the Aquebus was an early type of musket. Are we allowed to have handheld weaponry such as something like a Flintlock Pistol??? Thank you.

You're allowed to have another Focus and Idea.

Your population is too high IMO. I'd also like a more detailed description of your naval forces.

Sparta used to be played by somebody, so you'll have to stick to his history.

And no, flintlocks don't exist yet.

Did you get my TG?
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

Ok I would like The Pen for my last focus and printing press as my last idea. What more do you need to know about my Navy? And I will be fine answering to any previous disputes with the old player with whatever he did IC but my government system will not change and neither will the description of the populace. I should say that..... the government changed.... the people changed? But I would like to keep my population as it is. I only have 60000 in the military. Plus there are much bigger empires around me. I will not ask it to be raised more than 20000 a year though like I originally posted.

The IC is going at a good pace, a page being an IC month looks good (if character RP's happen in another thread well wars too, if nothing happens for a bit we could agree to move on a bit as there will be periods where much doesn't happen) the only things it's inconvenient for are people wanting to build colonial empires when the new world has barely been discovered. :p
