His men took about 800 casualties from the Polish volleys. Seeing his forces betrayed by the Polish, Frederick ordered his archers back behind the hills He faced half of his pikemen in front towards the ottomans, and the other half right in front of the charging Polish light cavalry, The Pikemen lines resembled an L shape, all the while they were behind hills so their defensive position was secure. As the Polish Cavalry charged, Arquebusiers raced up to safe distances and let off tremendous volleys at the Polish Lines. The heavy Husssars a mile back also formed up, raced to the right of the Polish lines, then they charged the Polish flanks. About 8,000 cavalry was involved in this charge. The rest had receeded back to guard the Emperor.

What? how does that work they were completely ready for me? I don't think so. They would defiantly be confused even if they knew I was coming then i'm fairly sure you would have had men facing me and I wouldn't have attacked? So I don't understand how that works.

No but I'm sure they wouldn't sit there like ducks. They turned to face you.

It seemed like they automatically turned it would take some time to get back together and regroup

True. Sorry, I'll fix it. But some would still be able to get off shots at your lines. And the pikemen could form up, albeit not in a formal battle line. So I'll change that.

Pikemen faced your cavalry. You could not have charged effortlessly.

When you charged my pikemen, your cavalry did not stop, so they would have had to take casualties. You did not post the casualties they took

Not a small number. Regardless how unorganized a force is, a heavy pike will stop a horse. Especially the Pikemen Austria employed. And against 'light' infantry? Yeah, both would take moderate to heavy casualties. Certaintly not 'low'

Lol Portugal.

Firstly, I expressed that I was interested in Morocco by sending missionaries.
Secondly, how do they suddenly have North Morocco in one post?
Thirdly, they are trying to get the Pope to condemn Christian Crusaders for someone who doesn't even help support the war. Lol. and if the pope denies apparently he will claim French puppet.
wot.

France, starting around 1300 and ending about 1500, the Popes, including especially the current, Nicholas V, have been biased towards Portugal. I don't know why, other than the beautiful gifts, large tracts of land, innumberable titles and Catholics we give them...hmm, I'll havt o think about that one for a second..:/

Sending Missionaries somewhere is not 'expressing interest' in an area. I could send missionaries to Antarctica. Does it mean I am expressing interest in it? No, it means I am mad.

And, look at the first map on the maps link, it shows the Portuguese possessions in Morocco, a few cities on the Western Shores, and a plot of land, quite big, on the Northern side, containing such cities as Tangier. :) (y)

OP needs to update the map so I can know where I can invade.

And the Pope won't condemn a Crusader.
silly.

Can I make the post about leaving for Rome, or has the pope not "officially" sent one?
It seems like I should be able to go, after awaiting a little bit (so that the letter can arrive)

Country Name: Principality of Great Russia
Leader Name: Pavel Pavlovich, Grand Prince
Short bio of Country or Leader: In the late 1400s, Kiev was ruled by a despot named Ivan III. Understandably, the Principality fell into turmoil. Several principalities split away, forming the coalition of Great Russia. Russian troops, led by Pavel Pavlovich of the Pereyaslavl Principality were initially defeated, first at the Battle of Donnets, where Kieven troops routed the Russians, then at the Battle of Chernihiv, where Pavel himself was struck with a quarrel from a crossbow. While escorting their beloved leader to safety, the Kievens managed to surround Russian troops.

Spring brought new promises to the failing state, as Pavel recovered from his wounds at Chernihiv. He remounted his rebellion, and in a stroke of brilliance, decimated Kieven supply lines and began a blockade of the city. As the Kievens slowly starved, a Kieven ambassador came to Pavel and negotiated the surrender of Kiev. Pavel assumed the throne, taking the title: "Tsar."

A new era of expansionism began, as Pavel struggled to rebuild the shattered nation. And now, as he prepares for his invasions south, while the nation prepares for raids from the Kazan Khanates in the north, the final vestiges of the Revolution are ready as Pavel plans the execution of Ivan III.

Pavel was born in Sochi, in the Crimea. From a young age, Pavel was disturbed by the atrocities committed by the cossacks and oprichniki in the name of the Prince. Later in his life, he would tell about a scene as a child, "The Oprichniki came in the night. My father was falsely accused of disturbing the peace. They... they tortured him before my mom and I. I will never forget the sight of their whips. His body was found hanging from a tree the next day. I have seen the work of a despot, and I hate it."

Pavel enrolled in a university in the Holy Roman Empire, the funds leaving his mother broke. Unable to pay the debt, the Oprichniki came for her as well. Pavel has been haunted his entire life, knowing that it was his fault she died.

Pavel originally was a monk, in a monastery outside of Luhans'k, and was disturbed by his horrifying past. He began gathering followers, speaking out against the Prince. When the Oprichnika were sent after them to silence the rabble, they fought back, and so began the Revolution.

I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be based on history up to the date of th end of Byzantium.

So I'd say,no,
Unless Muldinith has an other opinion in the matter.......
