Blake laughed. "In the Rangers, you always have a very large chance to get blown up on any given mission." He wiped the sand from his optics. Looking west, he saw a rather large amount of Sand in the air. "We should hurry this up Tipper," he said slightly worried. "Sand Storm Brewing up."

She laughed at Blake's first comment, but after she saw then sandstorm he was talking about, got serious immediately. "Damn, last thing we need is to get stuck in sandstorm with those muties! Lets get your man and get outa there!" She had some glasses she found and a makeshift cover for her face, but she was worse off in the sand.

He pulled the binoculars to his face examining the coming sandstorm. "This should be good its ETA is about one hour we can make it to the city and rescue Michael in time for the storm to hit giving us cover to make it back, its perfect" he put the binoculars away and ascended forward.

"Your helmet has those optics for a reason, engie." William pointed out to Blake as he too began to notice the gathering sandstorm around them.

"No Shit Sherlock." Blake said. They were nearly to thier destination, and the sand was beginning to swirl around the group. "Everyone, stay close. If you wander off, your fucked." he warned the rest of the group.

"Check you're ammunition, stimpaks, and supplies. We are entering mutant territory the entrance is close look for a sewer grate" he slid behind a rock bulling out his binoculars looking into the distance orange lights blazed in the distance as he zoomed in he saw the super mutants front line but his face dropped in astonishment. Bodies were skewed over the fire cooking like an animal for dinner as he skimmed over he saw a young woman impaled and put into the fire pit. "Holy shi.." he turned over and puked, "lets..lets go now".

"First time seeing muties handywork? Well ought a give you a drive to kill em at least." She added in with a chuckle. "Right take the lead cap'n... Unless you want the random girl to show more courage then you." She ment it as a joke, but she thought they coulda took it the wrong way cause of her demeanor.

"No..its just those people" the look disappeared hiding in a stern face. He quickly pointed, "there is the sewer entrance let us head in. I've heard stories of feral ghouls thousands of them living in these sewers we must watch our steps" he crept over to the grate putting a crowbar in the hole and pulling up.

The sand was getting thicker. "The Storm's picking up. If we do this, The way back will be too dark, and windy. I say we make camp when this is done. The sewers will protect us from the storm, and we can hit the Mutants from below their feet." Blake said. It was becoming difficult to see the mutants, and the sand was beginning to clog his optics.

"We have to push through it all, the sand the mutants everything we have to prove ourselves" he jumped into the dark pit his echoing words, "jump" followed with him.

Front line of the tribal's

Fire rained down upon the tribal warriors who stood building a barricade well the large super mutant armed with a flamer set hell upon them. "You push, you build, hold back" the chief of one of the tribes screamed in terrible English. One of the cars engines had lit on fire exploding in a haze of nuclear radiation bodies flew everywhere. The tribal soldiers retreated farther into the city yet closer to the innocent women and children, there front lines were falling.

"This isn't a death or glory mission. Don't do anything damnably idiotic." William cautioned as he followed into the sewers, making sure to keep his rifle well clear of the filth covered floor of the area. He was also quite glad that his helmet kept the stench of the place from creeping in.

"Listen William this is to save the lives of those innocent tribals. I am trying to put our lives on the line to show Michael that being a ranger is all about heart rather then glory like you said" he clicked his flashlight examining the area awaiting the others to follow.
