Several land raiders, and baneblades are deployed inside the city to break up the last pockets of resistance. The heavily armored vehicles lumber forward taking up multiple lanes of the road.

The Kig-Yar spread throughout the city taking positions in high buildings. The Exitus rifle, possibly the best sniper rifle in the galaxy, and the Kig-Yar's natural marksmanship makes for a deadly combination. They wreak havoc on the enemy, sniping people when they think they are safe from the combat.

IC: Lekgolo colony fleets were exploring systems near Svir when they discovered another world inhabited by sentient life, known by the local traders as Kalee. When Lekgolo diplomats tried to establish a peaceful relationship with the inhabitants, the Kaleesh. The talks quickly degraded until the Kaleesh massacred the diplomats. The Lekgolo Dominion would not stand for this, and geared up for war.

The place is then swarmed with the Adeptus Machanicus seeking to discover the secrets housed within. Due to their inexperience with anything relating to forerunners they cannot gain entry to the facility. Although access to the site is restricted with 2 legions of spacemarines protecting it. The emperor reaches out to the Rannochian Empire, and the tau asking if they have any experience with that kind of technology.

"Greetings, Republic of Armaggedon, we have discovered that you have discovered a Forerunner installation, do you require assistance in finding what is stored within?"

The two fleets of Righteous Judgment, numbering 500 ships, arrived over Kalee. The Kaleesh had not achieved spaceflight at this point, so they watched with amazement as the ships descended over their cities, but that amazement fled them when the ships began bombarding the cities with high-intensity plasma beams. By the next day, one of the continents was already completely glassed, and the Kaleesh began talks of peace with the Lekgolo.

When the science team arrives in Armageddon's system they see its binary stars, a blue, and a red. They would also see Armageddon itself which was abuzz with activity. Ships were seen entering, and exiting the ring of iron around Armageddon. The shuttle would be directed towards a desolate planet on the edge of the solar system with hundreds of large ships over it.

(The ring of iron is a series of space stations, and shipyards that form a literal ring of iron around Armageddon.)

They would see the site abuzz with activity. Massive excavators, and drills would move large amounts of sediment, and bedrock in hopes of uncovering more of the facility. A techpriest would be seen talking to a few Kig-Yar prospectors negotiating the money they get for uncovering the ruins.

The emperor would approach the science team eager to learn more about the facility.
