Not really. Most on both sides of the many religious debates tend to be rather blind in their zealousness.

But my only real concern is if you make that canon IC. Because as far as PL is concerned, the Vatican is doing fine at the moment.

some more than others. My empire is dimensional spanning so it might just be one version of the Vatican were attacking, the rest are still fine. I doubt ill mention it.
