The big issue I can think of that might come up is Planes, I would like to have players be able to make their own planes and not be stuck with only the ones in the MTG universe, but that may lead to too many planes with some players being neglected. I am also trying to think of a way to work the color system in without taking away too much freedom from characters (and making it easy for those who don't understand MTG story-wise).Wyare wrote:it sounds interesting
Than stay tuned! Its snowing here so I may go ahead and make the OOC sign-up as there is nothing better to do

Might not be understanding your question, but the RP would be done from the perspective of your planeswalker even though your planes walker might command an army or vast network of agents (or whatever your play style fits). Planeswalkers are pretty much stuck between mortality and divinity...They have the weaknesses of mortals though it takes a bit more for them to be killed, but they have great powers in the form of influence, spells, or collections of artifacts. Planeswalker can come from any sentient race so you can be a dragon, elf, human, etc. You can summon armies or powerful being to fight for you from other planes. However, they would have to bind themselves to you and some of these beings (such as a demon) may require you to fulfill some task or bind you to some oath before they allow you to summon them. The last thing you can do is collect powerful artifacts to use for yourself when dueling other planeswalkers.
Dumbing it down a bit, you are pretty much a very powerful mage who travel to different dimensions, but you figure out there are others like you. From there you can choose to team up to complete goals or attempt to kill one another as you gain power from fallen planeswalkers. Occasionally I'll throw in events that will require everyone to address it, from there they can choose sides or all work together

Now would we have to use exsisting creatures and planeswalkers or make up our own creatures and stuff.
