Meanwhile on the surface, in preparation for the attack scouted out, the kingsmouth side had set an army of night ghaunts to plague the oncoming air vehicles and creatures.

From the trees were people, entangled in the branches. Also, a man in a grey suit stood in the distance.

Emmeria motioned the pilot to move towards the nearest city inside the defense perimeter. Very soon, they were flying above the gargantuan capital city, old medieval walls marking ancient locations. Hopefully, the sight of the mighty white walls would calm him into thinking they weren't 'technological savages'.

He instructed them to land on top of the Aircraft Carrier & Command Ship 'Autumn' where they would then pass into the Capital Neighbourhood, have a nice lunch, and discuss battle strategies before the empire could be breached.

Bezutious grabbed the shoulders of Mortimer and Yakumo, blinked five times, and they were on the surface again.

Mortimer summons up a strider and rides back into town.

He takes out a comically large C4 suitcase, activates it (which takes about ten minutes), and sets the time for ten seconds.
He snaps and disappears.

Now, Emmeria would stall Lance with all the wonderful food and sand, but behind closed doors...

Therefore, squads of Marines are being deployed to the Lancearcic front as we speak." Commander Del Rio on board the ESS Revelation spoke to other naval commanders. This was the perfect chance to show the Coalition's strength to this new empire. And hopefully, the many industrial sand crates would help quell any Lancearcic resistance to the plan. The Naval Commanders had no quarry, and since it benefited a possible ally, they went through with the plan. Almost instantaneously, multiple Pelican dropships shot off the deck, each with a cargo of highly trained Coalition Marines. This was a Flashpoint Operation, and it would not likely kick off a large war. They entered the outskirts of the Combat Zone, and it was known that any SSU troops in the region would see them...
