Welcome to Wotoke! The fairly new town stationed on Massachusetts Bay. Many are flocking from the city and to the more beautiful less crowded town of Wotoke. Wotoke is a safe city (sometimes) with an excellent police force. Many people will enjoy the beautiful shore of Wotoke, we have a great mayor who has no connections to the mob at all. Welcome to the town of your dreams you will make a living, raise a family, and go to school.
Welcome to Wotoke! Welcome to your New Life!

Ed Rhodes began the morning by rolling out of his bed at 0500, stretching as he put on his old NYPD PT Gear and running shoes and went for his early-morning run. At 0630, he returned to his home and carried out Hygiene before changing into the brown and tan uniform of the Wokote PD, putting on his police duty belt as he walked downstairs and began making breakfast. His 20 year old son lived with him while attending the local college, and although he loved his son, he wanted his boy to follow in his footsteps and become a Marine, just like he did. For now, he prepared the coffee, and cooked some eggs and bacon for breakfast. Back in the day, Maureen would be doing this, but unfortunately, Ed and Maureen got a divorce years ago, back when they lived in NYC.

In the Corleone Mansion, Vito Corleone sat back in his chair and enjoyed a fine cigar as he rubbed his fluffy cat. He was a very rich man who ran the most powerful mafia in the town. He said to his son Micheal "Micheal. We are powerful yes, but I want to wipe out our competition once and for all. There is a local gang HQ in an abandoned warehouse in the Northeast. I want you to take a few men to it and burn it down, no survivors. It is time we reclaimed our former power.", as he finished his cigar and put it in an ashtray. He also took out a bottle of whiskey and two shot glasses, and said "There will be a great reward waiting for you." as he poured the whiskey into each glass and gave one to Micheal and raised his own to drink.

"Ah, what a beautiful day!" Said Joe Davis in his blue pajamas. He had to go down to city hall and sign paperwork. All the boring stuff. It was 6:00 AM and he had to leave by 7:45. And since City Hall was right around the corner, he could walk. But why walk when you have a perfectly new Mercedes Benz with leather seats and air conditioning? Upon getting inside City Hall, he asked his secretary what he had to do today. Apart from that boring paperwork, he had to give a speech at 2:00 PM stating how wonderful this city is and announcing upcoming projects.

The alarm buzzed and Nathan, shaking his head and laughing slightly, Why do I always forget to turn off my alarm when I don't have school. He sighed, his dad would be gone for his morning run by now. Nathan took a quick shower and got dressed before heading down stairs. He grinned when he saw his father and nodded to him, "Morn'" He grabbed a large helping of bacon and egg and a glass of milk, he never understood why poeple liked coffee. "So, anything new happen on your jog?" This was more or less a standard routine for him, always sking questions about what his father saw and did. Nathan reasoned that his father's words and how he handlled situations would help shape him to be a better person, after all he wasn't quite sure if his dad was still mad at him for the incedent in New York.

OOC: My first post will be with Michael because I want it to.

Michael raised his drink with Vito. "To power, and out family," he said draining the drink. "I have to get going now, it's best just to get it over with now rather than later," he added eating up. "See you later," he told him walking out. He went downstairs and went to the basement. 15 men were down there playing cards, watching T.V, and drinking. "I want all of you to come with me, heavily armed. I have a job for you," he told them. They all dropped their cards and liquor and started getting dressed and armed. Michael was outside when they came out. They each had one pistol, 4 Molotov cocktails, and a main weapon. (An assault rifle, sub-machine gun, or shotgun.) they all went in their cars and started driving to the safehouse. Once there they exited their vehicles and started shooting at anyone in their way.

OOC: Not my best post I could've done better and I will next post.

Collins Packard.

A 6:30 start was usual for Collins, he arrived in Maxheat's office at around 6 O'Clock, he checked the mail. One envelope looked familiar, he opened it and it contained 3 adresses with the family names on it, he folded the piece of paper and put it inside his pocket. With that out the way Collins went into the storeroom, here all of the equipment was kept he looked around and went over to a few pipes and valves, he tinkered with them for a few minutes and then left to go to his office. The work force would be arriving in a few minutes, but he knew that he may get a visit from the police, as a series of house fires all seemed to point to Maxheat and faulty product design.

"Nothin', really," Ed said, speaking with his Southern accent. "You got school today? Or has the boss man got you workin' on more of them shitty water heaters of his?"

Ed then poured some coffee into his "Shit Happens" mug, and sat down at the table across from his boy.

He grinned, "Nope, no school for me today! And the heaters aren't that bad." his grin faded, "Oh crap work! I should've been gone by now!" Nathan stood up and began rushing around, franticly gathering his work supplies. "See ya dad!" He rushed out the door, Crap... keys.. Ahh forget it. Nathan ran off towards work, Hopefully I won't be too late! It's a good thing that my father always made sure I was could run. He arrived, huffing slightly, "Hi.... I'm... Sorry.. That. I'm late." He grinned hopefully, since this was only the second time he might get off with just a warning, however he had only been woring for about a month.

Collins Packard.

"So you've finally decided to show up? Nah, just kidding, at least you made the effort to hurry up, listen I have a job for you - Kenworth family up on 31 Georgeton Avenue, they need a new water heater fitted, I've already prepared your stuff in your van, so hop to it kid."

Collins ushered him out of the door.

As Nathan left, Collins took out the list of names and scored off one of them - the Kenworth family.

Nathan blew out a sigh of relif when he entered the van, Wow! Mr. Collins sure is nice! I though for sure he would fire me. Nathan turned the ignition and sped off towards the Kenworth's residence. He walked up to their door and knocked, an elderly man stepped out to greet him. "Moring Mr. Kenworth. I've got a water heater for you guys!" The old man replied, "No problem. Just don't break anything." With that the man let and let Nathan get to work. After about an hour or two he stood up. "That should fit it in nicely!" He nodded, satisfied, and told Mr. Kenworth that he was done. After that he got back in his car and drove back to the workshop, They were some nice people. I hope everyone in this town is as nice. He enter the shop, 'Helloooo Mr. Collins. Anything else you need me to do?"

Ed soon left after his son and made his way over to the police station, checking in before heading out on patrol in his Crown Vic, making sure that the town stayed safe. It was much different than the roads in Iraq and New York that he patrolled, and he liked that. Traffic wasn't bad either, and each drive was just a short cruise on the well-maintained roads with other sensible drivers.

Nathan pause, somewhat worried. After all even he had heard the rumors, "Well.... I... I don't think so. I mean sure there were a few mishaps but I don't thik you have a faulty product. Maybe it's not even the product's fault." He paused gaining cofidence, "I've heard some of the police saying there might be a few criminals out there. Maybe they are just arsonists looking to blame things on a normal and more morally upright person, and who better than the creator of the water heaters that just-so-happened to be installed recently."

Brooklyn McRae
Brooklyn was up, washed and ready in her tan wakote PD gear by six thirty, she still had an hour or so before she had to report into the PD and go about patrolling town with her parter, she made herself a quick cup of rubbish coffee before heading out of her bland looking house and into the street leaving the cup half empty on the kitcen counter, the police station was only a five minute walk from her house, the day time traffic was slowly starting to heat up as people rushed to get to there work, she quickly crossed the main road and entered the station, she heard the receptionist say something about her be early, she quickly signed in and contiued in the PD and headed to the armory to pick up her glock 17 standard issue sidearm before heading back up to wait for her parter to arrive.

Frank Hampton
Frank sat in his living room smoking a cigarette, his daughter Amy had already left the house for school, frank was still in a deep regret for what happened to his wife, he hated himself for it, even his own daughter hated him for it, but he had to move on for his daughter's sake and his, he was still living life fairly large from the amount of money he gained over his criminal career, but money couldn't solve his problems or make amy like him, he prepared to do what he did every day, he got ready to protect some rich guy who owned a water heating company, hell, frank was offering a normally expensive 'trade' for partially nothing, he wasn’t in it for the money, it was just something for him to do, he quickly went up to his bedroom and got changed into his grey suit, he grabbed his lockbox from the top shelve and opened it with the key he kept around his neck, it contained his second pride and joy, his AMT hard baller pistol with a couple of magazines and a constable waist holster, he placed the holster one his right side of his waist and placed his pistol inside it, he checked his watch, he was a bit late, he quickly rushed out to his car and drove over to the maxheat headquarters were his new boss worked, he arrived by seven, got out and entered maxheat headquarters, looking rather menacing in the process, he couaght sight of his boss whom he quickly approached. “good mornin’ Collins.” He said with a thick Irish accent.

Nathan grinned, "Awesome!' Once again Mr. Collins is pretty nice. He turned, seeing what could pass for a bouncer. "Whoa..." Getting over the momentary shock, "Hi I'm Nathan," He extended his hand, "Nice to meet you Frank. Are you helping out with installations or something?" He grinned widely, Forget installations this guy should be a bouncer or something... "How come I've never seen you around? Are you new?" Nathan shot the burst of questions, his excitement bubbling over at the though of having a new coworker....

Wotoke Docks

Jovan was aboard a small Croatian trade ship. Jovan was a Serbian immagrent and former soldier in the JNA, VRS, VSCG. He was a haunted man a vetran of three wars. Once the ship docked he walked off the gored and rusty boat and onto the wood docks he was wearing a dingy white shirt, dark blue jeans, and some worn out tan boots. Dirt and grim covered his face, a 5 o'clock shadow covered much of the lower half of his face and his green eyes once a bright jade color had dined down to a mossy green color. He walked around looking for work. He could work as a handy man of some sort but couldn't do so without tools. He had He had 30,000 Serbian diners or about $360 on him.

After sitting down in his over-sized chair, he looked at the paperwork he needed to do. After signing off on multiple papers, he looked at an official-looking paper called the Crime for the Month of (Insert Month it is here.) It stated the crimes that occurred this month. Shoplifting was down along with graffiti. But arson, murder, and drug-related crimes were up. Obviously he did not want this black stain on his image, so he went down to one of his advisers offices, and asked him if he would be able to "fix" the crime report by the end of the day, and his adviser gave a quick nod, and Davis walked out. Next thing to do... speech. It was time to get ready for the big speech.

"Car 12, 10-4," Rhodes responded, turning on his pursuit lights and siren as he sped through traffic and red lights. When he got to Maple, he slid to a halt near the fighting and threw on his tac vest, grabbing his HK 416 from the locking rack as he hopped out of his vehicle. Two bullets hit the cruiser, and that gave Rhodes a reason to fire back. He aimed down the sights, popping rounds downrange at the gunmen. His intent was to buy time for the civilians to clear the area until more officers and SWAT showed up.

"11-99 at Maple Street," Rhodes reported. "Code Purple."

Steven woke up. It was time for work. He got out of bed and headed for the bathroom. He took a quick shower then brushed his teeth. He went to go get on his uniform, once he located it he put it on rubbing his eyes and yawning. He walked outside with his camera. He was doing a project on the police. He went in his car and drove to the station as fast as he could. On e he arrived he parked his car and walked inside greeting a few people. He went to th armory and got a glock and 2 mags for it. He went over to his desk wishing he had stopped by a dunkin donuts to get a coffee. He stretched himself out before locating Brooklyn, his partner. "Hey, we have patrol today," he told her. "We better get going," he added walking to the door waiting for Brooklyn to come.

Michael:

Him and the other mobsters shot at all of the windows. They went out of cover and shot at the windows while moving. They would throw the cocktails once they were close to the safe house. Then a police officer showed up. 3 of hai men went to cover and shot loads of bullets at him. He would most likely go to cover and wait until more cops came.

Getting over the momentary shock, "Hi I'm Nathan," He extended his hand, "Nice to meet you Frank. Are you helping out with installations or something?" He grinned widely, Forget installations this guy should be a bouncer or something... "How come I've never seen you around? Are you new?" Nathan shot the burst of questions, his excitement bubbling over at the though of having a new coworker....

Frank gave a casual nod as Nathan introduced himself and as he asked what he did, frank casually flashed his holdstered piece to show that he did protection work. "Let's just say I protect your boss here from those.. Excuse my language, arseholes."

Collins Packard.

Collins cleared his throat, "Ah, hm, eh.....that's right Mr frank here does protect this business from bad people. He is, eh , here to collect his weekly payment."

Collins Packard reahed in to his jacked and pulled out a envelope and handed it to Frank Hampton.

He turned to Nathan, "I would appreciate if you kept this quiet."

Jovan heard the gun shots and he sucked for cover. The gun shots brought back horrid memories of Vukovar and Sarajevo. He hunched over and walked over behind a building were he saw a police office.

"what go's on!?" he said in broken English.

His soldiers instincked clicked and he started to become more perspective. The adrenaline ran through his body as bulits wizzed by his face.
Nice Little Quotes
“Kindness is the golden chain by which society is bound together.”
-Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

Yet human intelligence has another force, too: the sense of urgency that gives human smarts their drive. Perhaps our intelligence is not just ended by our mortality; to a great degree, it is our mortality.
