"Not exactly a..lawyer." Cirillo said, Ethan nodding slightly. "When he said we took care of his problem, we uh...took care of it. As in, permanently." the mafioso said, still keeping his voice hushed--but not making it too obvious he didn't want the men across to hear.

Eva at first seemed baffled by Cirillo's response then it dawned on her what he actually meant. She tensed up a bit, and took a few gulps of her champagne, trying to keep her composure. She pursed her red lips, then forced out a smile, her eyes looking down. Eva had heard that the mafia had ties in Vegas and that she could come across them, but not so suddenly. Eva looked back up at the two men before her. "Oh....I see what you mean. Well if that's what needed to be done...then so be it. In some cases, I guess that is the only real solution."

"Please, don't...don't get spooked." Cirillo said quickly, noticing Eva's initial reaction to the news of his 'occupation'. He finished off his drink quickly, before she spoke again. "Well...I'm glad, then. I shouldn't have even told you that much,so I'm glad you took it well. If not..." Cirillo trailed off.

"You needn't worry about that though, our friend is one if the nicest guys I know, outside of his office." Ethan said.

Eva took into consideration what the two men were saying. Sure being linked with the mob could have many benefits, but it could also be dangerous. However at the moment she considered asking them for help. Ever since her show in NYC, Eva has felt like someone was following her, stalking her even. She would get phone calls in the middle of the night, roses without a card in her dressing rooms and when she stayed at hotels, the same box of chocolates would appear at her door. She took extra precaution and had her room at The Sands booked under a pseudo name, so she figured she wouldn't be bothered, especially with this performance being on short notice.

"Well I'm sure your friend is the kind of person everyone wants to know. Perhaps during my stay here, we can all go out to dinner, drinks perhaps ?" Eva said as she finished her glass. She looked noticed the other men who were still staring over, almost as if they were trying to listen. "Now, what do you think their story is huh ?" Eva asked Cirillo, her eyes motioning to the two men across from them.

Before Cirillo could even nod or utter a word, Ethan promptly agreed to Eva's suggestion. "A great idea sweetheart, if I can put in a call tonight I could have Deano down here by the end of my performance tomorrow, and maybe we could all go out the day after huh?" the musician said. Cirillo could only nod in agreement. "It's a plan then, maybe I could get Dean to put in a good word for you somewhere, Eva."

"Not to mention, if you can get me a drink with Dean Martin I'll be indebted to you, strange as that sounds." Cirillo joked. "Not so sure about those two guys, but I don't like them." Cirillo muttered.

Eva's eyes popped and smiled the biggest smile. " Oh Ethan, that would just be delightful ! If that's the case, I must go out and buy a new dress. I want to look my best for you two...and for Deano of course." Eva said with a gleaming smile. Such a meeting could really take Eva's career to new heights and closer to the life she dreams of. Realizing the time, Eva decided to retreat to her suite for a good nights rest. "Well gentleman, it was a pleasure meeting the both of you. I need to get some beauty sleep, but perhaps tomorrow we can have breakfast in my suite ? Suite 252. Hope to see you around" Eva said, batting he eyes as she excused herself from the table. Ethan and Cirillo said their good byes as Eva headed to her room.

As the Mafiosos and the young singer parted ways, Halloran simply watched and listened to them. The girl could be of use, as she would likely get in close with the mobsters. Taking a sip of his drink, he picked up a copy of the newspaper from his table and began reading as he enjoyed his alcohol and smoked his cigarette.

Eventually, the two men stood and said their goodbyes. Cirillo walked with Ethan to his suite, before his friend ducked back into his room for a good night's sleep. Cirillo kept walking after they parted however, past his own room and eventually out of the casino. He syrup pled into a 57 Bel-Air with a fine red paint coat, making doubly sure that the men from the casino didnt follow. Just to be safe, as he pulled away from The Sands he took many odd routes and back roads around Vegas to get to his destination, the house of a certain Al Frechok. Cirillo stepped out of the vehicle with a solid face. He headed to the back of his vehicle, removing a baseball bat from the trunk and headed towards the house.

He knocked on the door twice before it was opened. As expected, it was Al, and the man received the end of the bay's handle as Cirillo entered, shitting the door behind him.

"It wasn't real smart of ya's, puttin' of payment." Cirillo said with a frown. He'd done business with the man before, but when a family member had recently gone to a dead drop location to receive payment for drugs they'd sold him, it wasn't there. Cirillo sent the man down on the man's knee as he stumbled to his feet, falling once more. "Please, you gotta..." Frank started, before receiving a blow to the stomach.

"Shut. THE FUCK. UP. Alright?" Cirillo said angrily, kicking the man down and continuing to swing the bat at his torso.

After a few more minutes of this--with Frank whimpering in the floor, bruised and battered--Cirillo lit a cigarette.

"Next time this happens, I'll come back and fucking KILL YOU. A capice?"

He received a pathetic nod as he walked out the door, back to his vehicle, and returned to his suite to catch some sleep.

Gannon walked into the Copa Room and looked for Collins, noticing him at the back of the room, he walked over. “Sorry, I’m late George,” Gannon said while sitting at the table, “But we may have trouble.”

Eva walked down the hall to her suite, opened the door and flicked on the lights. The room was lavish, decorated in a soft blue, white leather chairs, silver light fixtures adorned the wall and there was a fully stocked bar. Eva laid her coat on the bed, removed her heels, gloves, dress and locked away her jewelry in the safe before stepping into the bathroom. She grabbed her silk robe, wrapping it around her body then turned on the bathtub's faucet. As water filled the tub, Eva poured cognac into a tumbler, swishing around the amber liquid as she took in the lavish interior. After a few minutes she slowly got into the tub, drink in hand and relaxed. Eva sat in the hot water, swishing around the bubbles, sipping her cognac and thinking about what kind of dress to buy for when she meets Deano. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a faint noise in the other room, but disregarded it, letting her thoughts go back to what she would look best in.

Eva finished her drink and wanted one more to keep her buzz going. She stepped out of the tub, grabbed her robe and went to the bar to fix herself another drink. As she headed back to the tub she glanced over at the bed, stopping dead in her tracks, dropping the crystal tumbler to the floor. On the bed were red rose petals, and a chocolate box. The same white box with blue ribbon that had been left for her numerous times. Eva slowly backed up towards the door, trembling and hurriedly made her way out into the hallway.

Ethan Stephens had decided to continue the party after Cirillo had left on 'business', leaving him at his suite. Ethan hasn't gone to sleep, but had rather simply prepared for a round two with strong drink and good company. It had been fun, but eventually he had to draw the line at one too many drinks. He now stumbled down the hallway of The Sands, a throbbing in his head stoping him dead in his tracks. He thought it was just him, but he noticed a woman run out if her suite, recognizing Eva almost immediately.

Something wasn't right, it seemed. "Heya Hun...wha's....what's the problem?" Ethan asked, barely keeping a slur out if his words by speaking very slowly.

The show was over and George was already fairly drunk by the time Bill entered the Capo Room. Collins cheerfully raised his glass when he saw Gannon walk over, but his demeanor changed when he heard Bill's concern.

He smothered his cigarette in an ashtray and said with concern in his voice, "Jesus Bill, what is it?"

It took a moment for Eva to even register what Ethan said. She spoke very fast through her tears. " There....there was someone in my room. I was in the tub, and-and I wanted another drink, so I got up...I got up and there were rose petals everywhere and chocolate on my bed. Someone broke into my room and, it's the same box from the last few times. I thought I was careful, I thou-I thought he didn't follow me this time." Eva just stood there, her back against wall trying to piece things together. Her eye liner had mixed with her tears, making her make up run. Eva slid down the wall to the floor sobbing.

“I’m not sure that’s its safe to talk here,” Gannon said looking at the other people in the club, guessing that at least half were mobsters, “But I just talked to Freddy Basso, you know the snitch Freddy Canary, either way he made mention about some shipment that could alter the balance of the city. With all the families agreeing to a shaky ceasefire, this could mean trouble, for all of us.”

Meanwhile…

Canary walked into his apartment building, still nervous from the meeting with Detective Gannon. “I need the money for the rent Basso!” his landlord yelled as Canary walked up the stairs, “And tell yer’ guinea friends not to come by this late also! Ya bum!” Canary however, didn’t hear him.

As Canary put his hand on the doorknob, he found that it was open. As Canary nervously stepped inside pulling a snub nose revolver from under his coat, two shots rang out as another figure ran out of the apartment holding a still smoking sawed-off shotgun, tossed a Molotov cocktail into the apartment, and disappeared out the fire escape at the end of the hall.

Hey...hey...calm down, Eva. I'm...I'll go talk to Cirillo..." Ethan said, shaking his throbbing head. He disappeared for a bit before he could be spotted with a rather sleepy-looking Cirillo. "Hey." Cirillo greeted, glancing around. "Ethan told me what happened...you want me to do something, like...hang around in the hallway or something? Is he still in there? If we can find out who it is I'll give him a good damn scare." Cirillo said, running a hand through his black hair.

Eva looked up at Cirillo, wiping away her tears. She tried to keep her composure while speaking. " I don't even know who he is..or what he looks like. This has been happening for months, show after show he never fails to show up. He always leaves roses and that damn box of chocolates. I just want him to leave me alone. I'm afraid...I'm afraid he might try and hurt me." Cirillo helped Eva from the floor and walked her into her room, sitting her down in one of the chairs while Ethan made a drink for her. "If it's possible could you just...stay outside the door tonight ? Please ?" Eva sasked Cirollo while holding back tears, gripping the new glass of cognac Ethan had poured for her.

"Hey, hey, va tutto bene." Cirillo said as Eva seemed to struggle in holding back her tears. He always hated to see women cry, but This wasn't the best way to spend his night. He didn't feel as if he could simply turn down the request. "All right, I'll stay outside tonight, and I'll make sure he doesn't come back if I see him trying anything." he said, nodding as he got to his feet, and walked out the door, Ethan in tow. The drunk performer didnt stay long, but Cirillo positioned homdelf down the hall, a bit away from the door.

As the two criminals made it their mission to protect the young girl, Halloran made his way upstairs. He had overhead the room number during the conversation downstairs, and he was ready to blackmail someone. He didn't expect the two men to be up there as he left the elevator, but he figured he could make due by blackmailing them. He approached them slowly, smirking, with his eyes locked on to the two men. He had overheard the Guinea's name, and although he wasn't briefed on Cirillo, he would attempt a bluff, as Cirillo most likely had a record.

"Mr. Stephens, Mr. Cirillo...," Halloran said in a calm tone. "How are you gentlemen this evenin'? Fleeced any shopkeepers yet, or have you been peddlin' more dope and grass? You have quite the reputation, Mr. Cirillo."

"Mhm. Not very inconspicuous, if you're some kind of federal agent. Especially your partners." Cirillo said, returning the man's gaze. "Lock me up and throw away the key, mostly because I'm Sicilian, right?" Cirillo questioned, still keeping in his position near the door.
