That makes sense. I guess it would land on the far side of the middle of everywhere, not accounting for the parts that would split off in the upper atmosphere, which would scatter around the area and others, and the impact, depending on the size, could cause a mass extinction.

i just want to point out that this was a purely hypothetical situation; and also that at some point in the near future, i am blowing a hole in the Dreamlands' moon.... And probably send it careening through to the normal world.

A large part of the humor would come from the conflict between him (who writes overly technical descriptions of devices and long, rambling political tracts more than an actual story) and the magazine editor (who wants to "dumb down" the story to broaden its appeal). The High Tatras is supposed to have an egghead/ boffin-like personality. I would like at least one other character to accompany him to the magazine publisher when he presents his "story".
