Dumb question yes, but surprisingly there are times when the OP gets annoyed with first person RPing. Just wanted to make sure.

I already got a backstory to jump in. It's Al continuing his nearly 40 year long quest to colonize an uninhabited land following the end of the Unification Wars (a series of Civil Wars in the Union). He's failed three times and made key allies in the process. He was sure he would be alone this time, but history and the Fates has proven to hate Al immensely.

Also, OP, do realize that the Gewehr 98 Karlsland has is a railgun, and therefore packs a far greater punch than a regular Gewehr 98. Like, say, the cannon of a small tank.
