Ashur almost soiled his tunic when another monster burst from the shadows. It seemed to side with us. Ashur took position behind the two monsters, as not to be the brunt of the attack. He drew dagger. Looking behind him, he could see one man running. He must be following the pointy-eared man who could not be seen anymore.

Glorfindel Naffgog had always hated being underground. It was in his nature, his elven heritage made him long for the woods and forests whilst his orcish nature brought out a love of swamps and marshes. The closed he ever got to being underground was going into caves and this was no cave. Grasping his staff he wandered around the tunnels until he heard the sounds of a large creature thundering through the maze. He ran towards the source of the noise until he found a mixed group, ranging from orcs to humans. He gripped his staff tighter as he saw they were preparing to fight the beast that was lumbering in their direction. He prepared to cast a curse, the totems covering his staff glowing dark green.

It was not long before the group was faced with their attacker, the Rindolthugn.

The Creature of the Maze had three heads, one of a dragon in the middle, and two of lions on either side. It's body was a large reptilian one, with hair covering it in some areas. It smelled like rotting corpses, and when it a long tail with a spiked club at the end wiped about every which way.
It stood at almost thirty feet tall.
(Yes, I did make up the name Rindolthugn)

Ashur stood amazed, as did everyone else. He had never seen a beast so ferocious. Nobody moved. He now wondered if it was such a good idea to stay instead of following the pointy-eared man. The foul beast started roaring. Not to be outdone, the monster on our side roared back. When locked in primal battle, beast against beast, it doesn't seem to fear.

"What is our plan of attack?," Ashur asked the group.

Daniel, a little scared, said " My plan is in two part. One, remind you that I told to run. "

Then he pulled his harp from his bag " Part two, try to calm down the beast. "

He started with his bardic skills a melody in order to calm him and maybe even fascinate him.

The beast stopped for a minute, curious by the Bard's music, but the dragon head was not impressed, and kept fighting for control of the body to try to kill the Bard and the others.

Thog took a step or two away from the singy-man, maintaining a safe distance away from the howly-thing.

He was pretty certain he understood singy-man's plan. Singy-man clearly was going to be bait, so that the howly-thing would eat him, and give Thog and the others the opportunity to smash it while it was busy eating singy-man.

He was 98% certain this was the case.

Daniel continued to play his harp, also dancing to enchant the creature. Of course his dance brought him farther and farther from the creature, leaving the others to deal with it once it would stop fascinating.

The bard did well in distracting the beast. The dragon's head thrashed violently against the other two heads. The bard enchanting music and grotesque dance moves allowed Ashur and the others an opening to its sides. While the beast moved forward, Ashur managed to slip to its side. He then took his dagger and attacked the hind leg of the beast.

Daniel was about to scream, but simply ran away as fast as he could, not even caring of looking behind. The fool, didn't he know that in the moment you cause pain the fascination spell of a bard breaks?

At least the creature was now hurt on a leg and angry with someone else. He was probably safe, he hoped.

Ugluk growled hopefully as it seemed the fascination musicy spell had saved his beefy hide, but then someone stabbed it. He swore at the fool in the Black Speech, and resolved to make him shorter by a head later. But now, now it was time to put his legs to use again. As fit and strong as he was, no Orc could face that.... thing. He turned and ran after the bard, resolved to put some distance between him and the creature.

Hashim had stood there looking at the fascinated creature when someone attacked it. Deciding that running away would be the best choice of action, he turned around and legged it.

After attacking the beast, the two heads snapped out of its daze and began to focus on Ashur. He was confused as to why this had happened. Surely a wound so small could not break the spell of a bard, could it? No, it's not possible! The bard must of have set him up to get eaten, he thought! Doing so would allow the bard to escape the trail of the blood-thirsty beast. If Ashur survives, he swears to have words with the bard!

The beast, now more violent and monstrous than ever, swung its tail to kill Ashur.

Whoosh! Booooom!

He dodged the attack barely by diving to the side and the beast's tail struck the wall. It caused vibrations so violent Ashur couldn't even stand back up. Upon looking up he noticed some of his "companions" in misadventure running for their dear lives. It only confirmed his suspicion. Even the monster ran like a frightened rabbit. And here, good Ashur thought monsters like him did not understand the concept of fear.

"So much for teamwork!," Ashur yelled angrily after the cowards, not sure if they heard him. "You, monster, are all bark, but no bite!" He got back on his feet and faced the beast. It stared right at him with a look so frightening, words cannot decipher it.

"SINGY-MAN, YOU WORST BAIT EVER!!"

Thog was conflicted. With so many running away following suit would be the smartest idea.

But this crazy-orc stay and fight and smash. And Thog like smash.

Doing some quick (for Ogre standards) thinking, Thog figured that, worse case scenario, he was always faster than crazy-orc. And Thog could smash while crazy-orc hold attention of howly-thing.

With the howly-thing's attention on crazy-orc, Thog moved in to the side of the beast to flank it. "SNEAK ATTACK!!" the ogre yelled, using his long reach to slam his club down at the chimera.

"THOG SMASH!!"
