Speaking of the IC I think we have enough people (I think there are 7 of us) to start one.
Also how am I supposed to get dem ships.Conquering Nubians? I am already supposed to be trading with them and defending against them.

I think you would have a few crude riverine/coastal barges and the like. I suppose you could have explorers/spies see more advanced ships, and begin coming out with basic galleys.

Anyway, will this thing remain open? I'm a bit packed at the moment, but I'd love to join this at a later date still.

Type of State (Tribal League, City-State, Coastal Kingdom, Nomadic Empire etc): Tribal League
Population (realistic, if you please, use Mediterranean 500 AD as a benchmark, or adjust for lower-tech societies in North Asia and Southern Africa): 500,000
Location: The Netherlands
Culture (as a result of the above): Atlantic
Brief History: The Belgae were once a group of peoples from the Baltic Coast. They were forced from their lands by West Eurasian tribes. During this period of migration, they encountered many tribes who shared similar cultures. The Belgae absorbed the tribes, and incorporated them into a larger horde. The Belgae also solidified what it meant to be one of them. They adopted the Goddess of Fertility as their only god, an wrote down many of their of their legends in their holy book, the Harot. They also began to sacrifice surplus grain and livestock to the Goddess, as well as removing the foreskins of all male tribesmen. After settling in their current home, they began to send out Missionaries to neighboring tribes to convert them to Belgaeism, and hopefully incorporate them into the Belgae tribes.
Notes on Society: Based around their religion, very egalitarian.
Current Situation: Just settled into their new home, focused on spreading their culture & religion.
Plans for RP: Expand Religion, Get Rich.
