This army was feared throughout Mesopotamia for its chariots and elite Spearmen. Akkad under Sargon soon became the main power of Mesopotamia. He has now built up a sizeble army and he is preparing for a massive attack into the Levant.
Notes on Society: Akkad is one of the first Nations to use roads to cross their lands. Also they use a calender of sorts, they have very basic, religion-based, astronomers. They also have a large library in the Capital. They have the first famous poet (poet-priestess Enheduanna). They follow the Sumerian Religion which was used by most of the other city-states.
Current Situation: Akkad, in it's conquest, didn't make many friends and because of this they are continuing to expand.

Then, the small village of Yurinsk rebelled. Then Pavlinsk, and Mlinov, and others to follow. The Easterners had become lazy and content, but when the battle cries came, they leaped at the opportunity for battle and glory. In the end, was the Battle of Pavlinsk, a brutal fight in which Pavlinsk was almost completely destroyed, and the Southerners were pushed back beyond the mountains of Ural. The Rus attempted to form a single government in the aftermath. Kiev demanded to be the capital, but Yurinsk declared that they contributed the most in the war, and Arkena claimed to be the best defended. The Rus dissolved into warring city states. When the bronze age hit, Yurinsk became the undoubtedly dominant city-state in the Rus. But Pavlinsk boasted stronger armor, and soon developed their own bronze weapons. The two states have existed in an eternal state of war since, while a sinister alliance was forged between Mlinov, Petroba, Arkena and Tarkova. They became known as the Black Shield. Approaching modern times, Black Shield has sent scouts over the mountains to search for the former oppressors of the South. Pavlinsk has discovered their treachery, but is too busy fighting Yurinsk to intervene. A growing confrontation between Pavlinsk, Yurinsk and the Black Shield approaches quickly, and refugees have begun to abandon the area in favor of a safer location.
Notes on Society: Each city-state is ruled by a Tsar. He is considered to have the highest social level. The next level is the Duma, elected officials who present ideas to the Tsar and advice. The third level is the peasants. Although they are the poorest social class, they are considered a high class because they contribute much to society, and keep the state running. The next class is the merchants and artisans. The lowest is the slaves.
Current Situation: Yurinsk and Pavlinsk are at war, and Black Shield is searching for allies to conquer the entire region.
Plans for RP: Civil War, refugees fleeing the Rus and Black Shield searching Asia for the Southerners.

Brief History: Inodey (Sri Lanka and Southern India) was settled thousands of years ago by the first humans to arrive on the face of this earth. Originally, it was settled by simple farmers and fishermen leading quiet, rural lives (They called themselves 'Nya') under various petty lords who were not that much higher in the social class system than them. Then, a new wave of travellers came from the north. They called themselves Inodeyans and had been driven from their ancestral homeland of the Bengal and Northern India by a new culture, who called themselves Dravidians. The Inodeyans and Nya, as they are from the same ancestral stock, are nearly completely indistinguishable from each other and interbreeding is not frowned upon at all between the two races, however it is with other non-Negritos. The Current King of the Inodeyans is Lord Alvaro, who is like a Holy Roman Emperor in some ways. He is the Lord of Jamaiqaar (Modern-Day Columbo), the most important of the city-states. There are around 80 such lordships in the country, who all swear fealty to the King in return for land and a title, as well as an offer to sit in the Counsel of Baro, the Upper Senate which provides advice to the King. This is all a bit confusing, so, basically, there are around 80 city states and smallish lordships and the lords of these obey the King, who also happens to be the Lord of Jamaiqaar, in return for a major political say in the country and to get to keep their land. Every man can be heard in the Thang, a public stadium where men can go and give their thoughts to the crowd and to a Lord's Clerk, who in turn reports it to the King. Okay? Ahaha, I shouldn't have done all of this... Anyway, back with the history, a few hundred years ago the Dravidians started to advance further and further south into India and eventually another massive war broke out. In the first war, the Dravidians had all of the knowledge and technology so theirs was an easy victory. Despite winning the war in the end, the 5ravidians didn't advance as far south as they wanted, due to the small technological advances made by the Inodeyans, such as the wheel and sail. They advanced their kingdom massively with these last two inventions. Straight stone roads were cut through the island of Inodey and the small amount of India it controlled. The sail was used to make the Inodeyans some of the most skilled sailors in the known world - their colonies (as in Classical Greece's 'colonies') were stretched far and wide - from a bustling port city on the mouth of the Ganges that they had fought for years to reclaim*(see the Religion section later on) to a few towns on the coast of Java and Southern Sumatra, to the whole island of Socotra. Cities, especially coastal ones, began to grow larger and larger. Over one million people live in Jamaiqaar now, making it one of the largest and most populous cities in the world. However, this being 500 AS and all, the population is still largely rural.

He rose then with wings and flew to the site of the nearest battle and shouted to the Inodeyan soldiers 'I will return again' before flying to the North. Or that's what the Inodeyans say anyway.
Current Situation: In constant state of conflict with the Dravidians, in constant state of commerce with the other Negritos and the Iranids and other cultures(When they come across eachother)

Hmmm, well twelve million for a City-State is huge, that's the size of London. I presume you meant it was an empire/league composed of city-states though, in which case could you tune it down to ten million? Just so you aren't too powerful compared to others, really. Who are the 'Men from the South'? Was it their cultural influence which catalysed the movement from nomadism to city-states? Otherwise, seems good.

I'm basing the men of the south off of the Middle East, perhaps ancestors of the Negritos. Their culture didn't prompt us to form city states, rather the threat of another invasion caused my people to band together for safety.

And quick edit, instead of being completely overrun by the Southerners, we banded together and defeated them, but suffered huge loss.

Brief History: Sargon was originally the son of a leader of the city-state of Akkad. When he came to power the Akkadian military mainly consisted of untrained farmers and peasants, but he reformed the army into a professional one. This army was feared throughout Mesopotamia for its chariots and elite Spearmen. Akkad under Sargon soon became the main power of Mesopotamia. He has now built up a sizeble army and he is preparing for a massive attack into the Levant.
Notes on Society: Akkad is one of the first Nations to use roads to cross their lands. Also they use a calender of sorts, they have very basic, religion-based, astronomers. They also have a large library in the Capital. They have the first famous poet (poet-priestess Enheduanna). They follow the Sumerian Religion which was used by most of the other city-states.
Current Situation: Akkad, in it's conquest, didn't make many friends and because of this they are continuing to expand.
Plans for RP: To create a powerful Middle-Eastern Empire.

Also aint 700.000 kinda slim for such a big place? Then again I have no knoweldge about the area at that time

Are forts made yet? I control the place that link Peloponese with the rest of Greece and I am thinking of creating a huge fort,the biggest the world has know in order to repel potential Nubian attacks
