Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

You guys try getting away with that.

Annoyingly enough, I seem to have the opposite problem. I come up with great ideas, but then no one joins, and the few who do join never post. Every RP I start that isn't dice-based inevitably fails very quickly. Maybe I should just stick with my fucking dice...

It's because they're good and nobody wants to put in a lot of effort.
In contrast, mine are utterly shite and therefore people are more at ease posting shite as well.

...wow, you're right.
I never realized that's what was going on, but now that you say it out loud I realize that's what's been happening.
So much goes into writing a single post in some RPs that you just don't want to even do it.

I'm stupidly devout, then. Sometimes I spend hours on end staring at the computer, but I always post where I'm needed..

Inevitably, people with actual skill come in to fix it.
And then you develop a harem.

I get TGs from people who ask if I have a slot open in EH quite often, at least once or twice a week. I can pick and choose my players if I want. This gives me a massive amount of freedom.
The deal is this- most of our posts are generally a bit over four sentences or so. When things get serious, we can make wall of texts and pretty much all of us have proven ourselves quite good at doing so. But the reason you guys keep posting here is because you can make one paragraph and call it a day regarding your posts.
But now your skills (including mine) have developed and you'll note we tend to go beyond that most of the time now and make two paragraph posts or three with increasing frequency.
The thing is that EH only does those long posts that take effort as the exceptions rather than the norms. And that makes this rp incredibly easy to maintain and do. So more people join it. And when more people join, the rp is more active.
And when it's more active and there's a lot of people, most of you become expendable.
That wasn't a veiled threat at all.

I know it wasn't. You'd never dispose of your friendly neighborhood fence-jumper..

You still hold use to me. *nod*
EH2 is easier to maintain than EH1 was, admittedly. I think this is because I'm sober and make more rational judgements (like vetoing the shit of Hard's plan during Arc 1 to bring Timothy Horn in as an undercover Fae agent in Arc 2, which high me would have happily approved but sober me considers the worst idea I've ever heard). And now I'm harsher and stricter and so we don't get as many bitchfests and I can remove people when they become more trouble than they're worth. (Ameri).
