Elfen High 2 (OOC 4, Closed, No Morals Allowed)

I find that no one particularly likes RPs that don't have a purpose or a story. Even AToLaC had an end goal to keep people invested, even if it was just a slice of apple pie.

There would be a plot, but my involvement would have been absolutely minimal in it.

If RU continued, it would have been rather like what I'm trying to describe. I sincerely look forward to RU2, possibly more than the actual EH2 Arc 3.

People also seem too lazy to participate in a player-run story and always look to the DM to do shit. Shazzridar's Tower is pretty much a traditional D&D experience, but I have to continuously nudge and sometimes slap players to get them going in the right direction. Otherwise, they'd have all sat there doing nothing until they left from boredom.

To be frank, I envisioned this originally (or I think I did, I was rather out of it) as being D&D on text. You could do nearly anything you wanted in EH and I would just control the background and NPCs. It'd be a place where you drop in your characters and they interact with the world around them. You could be as stupid as you wanted until something killed you.

Don't get me wrong- EH as it is now is great and quite fun. But sometimes I am sincerely annoyed with it because it did not turn out the way I had originally envisioned or hoped it would be. I had wished AWB would end up this way, since it was my try number 2, but real life was complicating things and AWB is better off this way to be frank.

The difficulty is that P2TM attracts, due to a migrating audience from NS, a more story-minded group.

This is a more Final Fantasy than D&D audience.

Then I wish we could compromise on Skyrim.

I mean, it's people writing. The thing that drives them to post isn't to explore the world - they want a good story and a plot. RPing doesn't seem to be about being the main character in a videogame - it's just like being a character in a book. And, really, that's funner. It's like a book, but more interesting.
