The salt can be produced by the English Channel as well and the salt at Provence is from MARSHES, not by the sea entirely. And I can send Merchants to the Almohads by land and that Sauron dude wanted play as Arles I think?

Nope, I then retook control of it and cancelled all the land changes which included freeing Provence. I still control it!!!

That would require a ship every couple ten metres to stop them getting sea water, and even then, they could shoot at the ships till they die.
