The french siege towers than opened and the french knights charged over the battlements and hacked and slashed the defenders. Then Pierre moved forward his halberdiers and they charged the Arab ranks and hacked to pieces many men. The city burned and the French moved quickly from house to house burning and killing. Bodies filled the streets and the siege went on......................

As it totally makes sence that the Saracens have no spears and Lances.

Also Valentir, just so you know, in the real crusades, the problem was not captruring the city, but holding it against the arabs who could simply cut off supplies.

Late spring; the ground is firmer than the Rasputinsa, but there are still occasional storms.

And he probably assumed that Rum=/= Seljuks

That still doesnt mean he controls his troops.
He can order them, but the action is made by the georgia player, as it can be seen with provence or as they did when the georgia player still was active.
