"Private it is then. Let's go!"

Torii's eyes were wide and full of excitement as she walked with Lidev through the city. It was twilight by the time they got to the base of the massive tower.

"Let's go up! I gotta show you the top!", she said, jumping in an elevator in the empty lobby.

Once the squad was evacuated from the building, Thriller followed behind for a bit before running ahead.*

"The art of war teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemy's not coming, but on our own readiness to receive him; not on the chance of his not attacking, but rather on the fact that we have made our position unassailable," Swith said to Levi. "The medic didn't fall back on lamenting his approaching death. He formulated a desperate plan to protect his people from what awaited them ahead and then fought hard to protect them from what hemmed them in from behind. He took the initiative to offer his suggestion and the other men complied with his request. In times of desperation, leaders are forged."

Naomi chewed on her lip. She slowly backed out of the room, then reached into her pocket and pulled out her tiny note pad and roughly sketched the symbol. "Ill ask Bones if he ever comes back," she said, putting the paper away. If she found the blanket, she vowed to come back and explore the odd room again before she left. If she didn't find it... she was coming back anyway.

She went back down the hall, casting glances behind her because she feared one of the puppets or birds would come flying out of the door, and took a door on the right of the foyer.

Blushing even more now at the discovery of her missing stock, Ada pounced Griselda, quickly grabbing the underwear and running behind a corner to change. She stepped out moments later, stock reattached to the rifle she was carrying.
