Now Kloar (will become increasingly mentioned as we go on) is the head area and residence of the wind priestess and a city of wind users reliant heavily on wind to produce energy and power their city and conformed technology around wind including the temple. It was attacked by Demons and the head priest Lun Fein killed during the war, it still after all these years is a bastion of wind worship and powers but not nearly as powerful as it once was due to the [u]low numbers of elementals.[/u]

It's also the technology factor too; Wind power is just too modern for the setting. Unless their wind technology extends solely to windmills that grind up grain.

That's true. I suppose they can have wind power for mechanical energy, and use it in various ways, but maybe not be able to make it into electricity. Unless they took in a few lightning elementals, in which case it would make more sense.

Kloar is reliant on a series of chutes, chimes, and spinners ( wind mills without the mill) to grind grain and power certain areas and mainly heat them. The city is very Asian-esque in terms of lifestyle, architecture, and its heavy reliance on wood especially since its main source of power was 90% reduced during the war.
Remember: Lun Fein himself was Asian.

Are there any other culture styles than (Western-eastern European) from what I've seen so far.

Yeah this sounds cool. And it makes sense with having an Asian-themed city for the religion that's closest to Buddhism in my head (Worship of the Wind Goddess). Plus, it'll be a cool break from the more European-style setting most of the RP will have.

Question: Why doesn't Coltaine and the guards confront her about going to the castle when they are heading there specifically to rescue people who went there? Why does she get to the castle at roughly the same time as Rebecca despite the fact that Rebecca left the town considerably earlier than the her? Why does she just outright ignore Rebecca when people hanging around an abandoned castle is kind of something that doesn't happen every day and deserves mention?
