Meeting of the new Imperium of Nations Council [IC/Closed]

[Nova Imperius]

After the recent merger of a number of great councils, the final Imperium is nearing completion. The many elite Emperors, Kings, and Presidents had arrived in a small island fortress in the centre of the bay of Ankda-Ruk to discuss the future of how this new band of brother nations would be managed. The Emperor Alexander XVI called the meeting open and the discussion open.

Emperor Hallicus arrived at the small fortress he felt a great deal of confidence with the knowledge that this would be a New Grand Age not only for the Empire of Halleon but also for the Imperium of Nations. The time for was ripe for the process of organization and politics within the Imperium to be settled and a permanent form of government was needed to run the daily affairs of the Imperium.

The Emperor's personal Airship landed on the pad designated for him on the small island. As the stairs descended, over a dozen Imperial Guardsmen exit, lining the area to protect His Imperial Majesty as he exited the Vimana. Joining Lucius were the six Ministers, the 4 other Marshals, their Staff, the Empress Rosaline, her Ladies at Waiting, and various other servants. All were dressed in their formal uniforms of the Court.

Now Gentlemen, i believe we should leap straight into business. As you know the Imperium is now the collection of 3 former regions, with a number of important and affluent members within them. Now i am wishing to begin discussions with requesting permission to dismiss the idea of a supreme autocratic ruler of the council. I would rather propose an elite council of 5 or 6.

Most likely the youngest ruler in the Imperium, the 17-year old Király Károly I has his helicopter land on an on-site pad. Him, Parancsnoka a Katonai; Antal Fekete and his oldest sister and most trusted associate; Felicia Mészáros exit the helicopter and move toward Fortress Ankda-Ruk. Károly smiles and says, "This should bring a much more stable world."

St. Lucoan Foreign Minister.

The foreign minister's aircraft had landed on the small island, it was a grand event, he was looking forward to it. His aims were clear - establish St. Lucoa as a powerful and influencial figure in the Council. He did'nt want to seem demanding, so he waited for the other nations of the Imperium to offer a open position to him, of course he would accept.

The Emperor Alexander XVI delecately lifted the Imperial State Crown off his full head of rich brown hair. He placed it on a cushion hidden from view until it was needed once again. A member of the Royal Guard took his velvet robes from him leaving him wearing only his underlying supreme air fleet commanders uniform, the great golden cross of the Nova Empire displayed as the focal point over his heart. He looked into the faces of the men sat around the mahogany table, giving a friendly smile to those men he was aquainted with. His opening speech had been brief but was only for the cameras waiting outside the conference room. Now the time was right to make an impression on the new council. He rose from his throne like seat swiftly and the room fell silent,

"Gentlemen, a mountain must be climbed. In these past few weeks we have together gathered the crucial tools and resources needed for this journey, alas only the beginning. The mountain i speak of is the globe, the world we inhabit. The journey i speak of is the decissions and choices we are to make in order to become the most powerful league in the world, which i assure you we shall be. Now the question on your lips are how are we to complete this tremendous feat of human enginuity. I would answer the same way as all achievements are accomplished, through thought, reason, and raw imagination. Now i open the floor to any who believe they can take the first step of this extrordinary journey."

"Gentlemen and Emperor Alexander XVI, I know that any region in the world needs a large military presence, to protect our families and our land. Therefore, I propose that Gredavcat becomes the nation in which the most military responsibility is placed on. We have a large army, totalling almost 200 million men and woman, including reserves. We have modern equipment and in all honesty, without offending anyone else here, we have one of the best defence programmes in the region. We will make sure the region is defended. Long live the Imperium. S nami gospod.

Therefore, I propose that Gredavcat becomes the nation in which the most military responsibility is placed on. We have a large army, totalling almost 200 million men and woman, including reserves. We have modern equipment and in all honesty, without offending anyone else here, we have one of the best defence programmes in the region. We will make sure the region is defended. The Emperor shook his head slightly upon hearing 200 Million,

"Please look over your figures my good sir. I believe you meant 2 million opposed to 200 million, and at that over half are reserves. Still by a decent amount one of if not the largest. Anyway i do agree a defense force is needed but a clear distinction between seperate regional armies and imperium armies are needed for greater control and discipline. We cannot have the defense down to the politicians of a single nation, rather full responsibility on our sholders. Im willing to put over 1/4 of the Nova Armed Forces into the devision though insist the costs of the troops are payed for equally by each member

The St. Lucoan foreign minister enter the debate, "well if we are nominating ourselfs, then I would propose St Lucoa have a strong involvement in Religion and Spirituality, as I'm sure some of you know, we do have a high religious population and we could supply sound advice to nations who are looking to either build places of worship or simply produce holy books. We could take care of that I think. If that's ok with the rest of you?"

"I, Király Károly of Vergenskia nominate myself and delegates of my Kingdom for Chancellorship. Being such a diverse nation of many skills, we would be well suited for High Command."

"Im sure that would be negotiatable, of course i believe high command should be in the hands of more than one leader. As for myself, Alexander Turnovarious of the Kingdom of Anhk-Durnik and its Empire Nova Imperius, also nominate yself for Chancellorship. Anhk-Durnik and its Nova Imperius has long been a dominating nation in this region of the world. We are highly involved in the worlds political pool and have a highly detailed and intricate economic and military pla we would be willing to put into action in the Imperium."

The Imperial Staff remained largely reticent. It did not matter much to Lucius what went on in these Conferences; he was largely cynical, and only really was out to protect the well being of his massive and powerful Empire. The State was the only thing that mattered to him, so he kept silent.

"Excellent, Emperor." Károly nods, with a smile and turns to Antal and Felicia to discuss internal affairs.

"Da, I too will contribute a 1/4 of troops to create a joint-armed force. And what about currency? Will we all adopt a new currency to make trading easier? Personally I think it will just complicate things, so I will tell you right now Gredavcat will not be changing currency. I will not lie to you comrades, I need to place Gredavcat on the map, I need her to become an economic giant, I propose that Gredavcat will be at the spearhead of industry within the region. It will be a place for all businesses to start up and it will produce everything from miliatry equipment to house-hold good, any objesctions?"
