Considering it will be remarkably difficult for Alison to do anything if you open that door, I'm just going to say "yes." The only reason I gave her that condition is because there's literally another door right next to her. If you take that away, she's pretty much screwed.

No. You can't wear armor on top of armor. You're also going to want to drop your old armor at some point, because encumbrance is a thing, and that armor is likely not to see any further use.

Oh, and about this "everything has plot armor" thing, I just figured I'd mention that if you're not too crazy about that, AToFaS will have virtually no plot armor anywhere. The way I'm setting up the maps in that RP means that destroying walls won't result in game-breaking consequences.
