Because he shares the same opinion of that as me, pretty much. If someone I knew seemed obsessed with sex, I would be a bit weirded out by them, too.

I'd probably be most weirded out by them doing it in front of everyone out of nowhere, more then anything.

However, Mallory seems to be very....neutral and okay about the whole thing, but stays out of it.
