I do believe Klanov was almost a meal out of them too. Why?"

"Oh, no reason....don't worry.", Torii said, marching around.

"That one guy said he was on a diet now."

She looked back to Yelisey.

"Wow...I wish I could say I was a Slav.....well, every Torsiedellie has some Russian or Polish in them....but I think most of my family on my mother's side was actually Turkish.... father was Russian, though.....whatever, anyway, an entire nation, full of Slavic peoples, with a socialist government?"

Lidev smiled and went to stand by Kei. "Nice to see she's making friends." She said to her.

"It's sweet, really." Kei nodded, watching the two talk.

"Yes!" Yelisey said, a strange sparkle coming to his eye. "Our government is divided equally between the Premier, Anna Pytrova, who is a Slavenic herself, who handles government affairs, and the Federal Socialist Party, who handles state affairs." He went on to explain the politics of the USN to Torii -- all of it a lie, but he was so illusioned by the rampant propaganda that he didn't notice. "There are twenty-four party Heads, from each district of the USN, and many more Party members working under these Heads, one for every twelve thousand people in a district."

"Wow....cool.", Said Torii, Listening to Yelisey.

"Our government is lead by the Soldiers and Workers Party, but supreme power goes to the Fuhrer. There are no districts, but every province has a representative. Anything not controlled by the government is done by the military."

She caught her breath real quick.

"It's rather simple, yet effective."

Yelisey crossed his arms in disapproval and shook his head. "That sounds awfully right-wing to me," he tsked. "Fascism is a bad thing; you'll have to look out for it." Then he leaned in close and looked around, whispering so no one could hear them. "You should think about having a socialist revolution. It'll be great for your social and civil rights, and the people can vote in whoever they want. It's just what you need!"

Torii seemed confused. She took a step back.

"But....we are Socialist.....our nation is a Jucheist Military State. We're just ruled by a General instead of a Premier. Actually, we've been trying to take over the western half of our nation for 60 years. They're Capitalist."

Yelisey shook his head again, a bit saddened by this bit of information. "That's what we call a right-wing government, i.e. fascist," he said, unknowing that he had been fed lies his whole life. "Anything that isn't left-wing or center/left-wing is fascist. Do your vote your 'General' into office?"

"Why argue with your fellow brothers?" Kei asked, stepping forward.

"We're not argueing," Yelisey defended himself. "We're debating on who is right on the political compass: that would be the socialists, the communists, the state-capitalists etcetera." He was beginning to feel a little frustrated; and Yelisey's darker personality tended not to like it when his host was upset by something.

"Uh...well...."

Torii's eyes started shifting around.

"Well....actually, He came to power after putting down a big rebellion in our southern provinces. He's only our second leader, and that was when the USSR still had a large influence over us."

"To a goddess? It's all rather pointless, I see it as arguing." Kei nodded.

"Exactly!" Yelisey gently took hold of her shoulders and looked her in the eye. "Those 'rebels' were fighting for your country's freedom! Your leader isn't ellected, you likely don't enjoy many social or civil liberties, let alone the freedom of speech and the right to vote out the government. Do you have stable classless society?"

"First of all, we have great, almost anarchistic social and civil liberties! We have some voting as well, but most people choose the WSP anyway. And those rebels were just petty Persian warlords and terrorists!"

"I could end it fairily easily." She whispered with a smile.

Yelisey, grumbling, left Torii to think about it and wandered off, an odd gust of icey wind blowing through the usually intensely tropical air, raising goosebumps on the skin and leaving a lingering feeling that something was horribly, terrifyingly wrong.

Torii watched Yelisey wall away before shooting a look at Kai and Lidev. She signed and stood there, thinking to herself.

"We are too Socialists..."

Lidev ignored Kei's remark and stepped forward, watching the young man walk away. In response to the gust that chilled the air around her, her red aura flared up a bit. It clung to her body and resonated only inches from her person. Something was not right indeed, but she didn't care for that. Torii was her love, and she'd do what's best for her in these situations just like she would do the best for herself if she was in the same spot. After a few minutes, her aura faded and she looked to Torii. "Don't let him get inside your head. He just needs to learn how to accept things. Communists, facists; when you look at the basics, it's nothing more than a title. A label. A name. Don't let anyone else tell you what your beliefs are or what they mean." She said.

Yelisey sat by the water, throwing rocks and poking his reflection with sticks, his knees drawn to his chestand his fringe covering his eyes. He stirred his last stick around in the clear blue mirror that was the sea, before throwing it yonder and watching it land some meters away. "Are not," he muttered, dugging his fist into the sand in search for another rock.

Kei left Lidev and Torii to themselves and appeared next to Yelisey.

"Are you still distraught?" She asked.

Torii tried to think of something to say back, but couldn't. She grabbed at her hair and screamed a bit.

"I guess you're right, but it's not that simple! I can't' just ignore that."

She started fiddling with her rifle and kicking at the sand.

Realizing the boy was zoned out, Kei popped back next to Torii and Lidev. She walked off a way and removed her armor, she sprawled herself out on her chest to watch the waves.

Lidev grabbed Torii and pulled her into a deep kiss. At the very least, this would get her mind off the whole thing. At least, that's what she hoped.
