Suddenly.

Dab falls out of the sky and lands face first on the beach.
"Damn you all to hell!" He curses at the sky and gets up. He dusts himself on and looks around.
"What a coincidence that i would land here." He said.

"And you are?" Kei asked, walking over to him curiously.

"Damn, can I ever get a break and find a new person I can eat?" Gretta said to herself. "Well I bet you never met a time traveling super-genius Velociraptor before, and you aren't screaming, so either you are brave or stupid." Gretta mused.

I blinked. Several times, in succession.

"Erm...yes...I think that's a safe assumption. Should I be running?"

"Not now, although people find me untrustworthy just because I have teeth and claws and a strong desire to set the world on fire." Gretta sniffed the air. "You smell like cold time." she added.

The exclamation points, asterisks, and other random mathematical symbols dancing around through the equation instead of staying put like they were supposed to made me dizzy, and I kind of toppled into her.
