The Empire would be inclined to trade with you, assuming the Suez canal was easily open to us, I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be. However, we are mostly content with Nigerian oil for the moment, though over time, imports will likely expand.

IIRC, it was the US producing the most oil up until post WW2.
